I use three of them as fermenters (20L). You can get em pretty full because the pressure holds down the krausen, haven't had any issues fermenting or cleaning :) great products, I love em

Ordering a couple of the 8s today, going to get a 4 and a 20L next month (gotta spread that cost...) so maybe see you later if you're not too busy! Kegland are doing great work taking homebrewing to a higher level at a more accessible price point. It's a shame cornies are so expensive, because they're smaller so you can fit more into the same space that you'd struggle with the 20L oxebars. My only real concern with the oxebars though is they're just asking to be knocked over, they'll be top heavy with a slightly rounded bottom. Kegland need to develop stands for these!
I would add that anyone considering buying these, they come with the gas/liquid posts, but they don't appear to come with connectors so you need the gas/liquid disconnects. If you use the duotight ones you can get ones that go straight to 3/8" or 5/16" (for serving), but John Guest ones will come with barb or thread and the thread is 1/4 FFL to push fit.

I have 2x8litre with mini 360 regulator, sodastream cylinder, nukatap mini and duotight flow control valve.
I go on holiday with a group of friends and we try to buy a firkin of beer from a local brewery to share at our accommodation, often we have beer left over or we are concerned that it has been tapped too long and is deteriorating.
I carefully transfer excess beer from the cask to the 8 litre containers, flush with CO2 and the beer is safe to bring home or transport to another location.
I have done this twice so far (Moho from Bragdy Mantle and Gobhar Odhar from Ardgour Ales) both kept well and tasted good way beyond the few days a tapped cask would.
I also bought the 20 litre to quickly rescue a conditioned brew from an old King Keg that had sprung a leak, worked well and will try it next for kegging a Bohemian Pilsner.
I prefer the unfashionable practice of cask conditioning in King Kegs as it is much simpler and gives something between a traditional cask ale and keg.

I'm a big fan of Kegland dispensing and the Fermzilla for its flexibility. Thoroughly recommend the 4 & 8L units for home, away, motorhomes, campers. Won't be long before I get a couple of the 20L😊 BrewBoy

These look great for force carbonating mead and cider too! Since kegging would just be used to carbonate before bottling, I haven't been able to justify the cost, but the price on these might change that.

Would be really useful if in a future video you could demonstrate priming rates for kegging.

Great as always guys, informative and very persuasive...I just have to have some 4 litre kegs now! Do you think it would work with a pluto gun (plus duotight liquid disconnect) and laying the 4 litre keg on its side in the fridge rather than upright. This assumes the wife would let me!

It might work on its side but you'll need to fashion something to allow the gas to be put into the void at the top of the bottle or add a no return valve between the head unit and the regulator on the gas line. You don't want liquid flowing down into the regulator a it will ruin it!

You might should mention the expire date on the products. They wont last a lifetime as the corny kegs thats for sure. I might buy the smallest one though. Cheers! 🍻

Anyone tried a pressurised transfer with one of these bad boys? Dying to get the finished lager from Fermking JR into these for conditioning.

Yep, pressure transfers work just like with steel (corny) kegs!

i love your videos. so thorough and a great demonstration!, but at the same time, it is like you are trying to learn imbiciles about common sense 🤣😂
    ''Lets talk about the bottom''
''Yeah you know it has a base so you wont scratch the plastic''
''Oh so you can use it to move it around and stand it on the base?''
    ''Yeah''

    cant breathe 😂😂😂
