  • Flying Aircraft This video is an example of how I do my daily inspection, it is not intended as an instructional video. For instructions on how to do the daily inspection on the aircraft you intended to fly I recommend speaking with a Certified Flying Instructor familiar with that type of aircraft. The purpose of this video is to show how I do a DI and help viewers see the my process of preparing an aircraft prior to flight. Hopefully you find it interesting, thanks for watching.

Great video this is an excellent example of how a daily inspection should be done and very well explained. Thank you for taking the time to do this. Vey informative for new and current pilots.

Thanks, hopefully the videos help, I don’t term them instructional as such more an example of how I do things. It can be very daunting when you first start out but every pilot was there once, my advice would be practice as often as you can afford in the aircraft but also at home. Running through procedures, making make out radio calls etc. I know it’s not the same as actually being in the aircraft but repetition will help with recall, glad you enjoyed the videos. Cheers.

Gday Steve. Loving your videos mate. I fly Jabi’s also. A LSA55 very much the same as yours, it’s 55 rego. And also fly a 230.
One little detail you didn’t verbalise was the stall warning test on the Jabiru is you “suck” the little vent to get the squeaker to sound. And another important detail is never reverse the direction of the prop as it damages the fuel pump. 👍🏼🇦🇺

Gday mate, glad you are enjoying the videos, I’m still learning this editing thing but slowly getting a handle on it. Yes on your observations, I did think of a few things after I posted that one, maybe I could put some additional info in the video description area. Not sure how many actually read the description bit but for sure will take it on board. Cheers 🇦🇺
