Really nice statue. Great size too! Case is OK, but when i use cases i like them to be quite a lot larger than the figure, otherwise those corners can obstruct the view some. But i am going to be honest, i love your shirt more!

I have the Prime 1 Dog on PO, so I'm excited about that one as well. I think they are both great in their own ways. I don't plan on having them right next to each other, but they will be close and I think they will complement each other.
Great video and beautiful piece. I ordered mine through sideshow unfortunately it was smashed and they’re out of stock so they couldn’t replace it. If you ever decide to sell yours I’ll certainly buy it.
Destro I don’t think it’s bad at all. It may not be as good as the prototype, but that’s the case for everything. It could use maybe a quick dry brushing of highlights, but that’s it. And without that mine is still good IMO.
I love mine too. The cabinet gives it that official Giger Museum look, very imposing statue. Are you getting the Prime 1 Big Chap? The action pose version will look nice next to the CoolProps one.

northernmunkey1 I own this and Sideshow’s big chap as well. They’re close in size, but the Coolprops Maquette is slightly larger than the old sideshow Maquette. And of course there are differences like a wider tail, and missing the extensions on the elbows.

It’s cool that they copied the suit from the museum but the dome is not accurate to in the movie was a lot more misty but it is a beautiful piece an shows all the details in the dome as for the body Mabey they could have added more grey highlights to what I’m seeing here very good video man and thanks for the chance to see it in all its glory
The dome changed throughout the movie. It varied from transparent, to fully black at the end. They even filled it with maggets at one point during a failed test (they died under the heat of the lights) So that specific part is always down to personal preference rather than accuracy.

It would kill me to spend this much money and for the item not to be perfect. Where are the elbow spikes on the creature? Also, the head dome is very clear, in the movie it is more smoky. Also, the movie creature has its fingers stuck together in groups of two, best seen in the “jazz hands” scene when it surprises Capt Dallas. In this statue, the fingers seem to be quite separate.
You are mistaken. There were many refinements in the design. This is the Giger maquette. It's a duplicate of the 1:1 at his museum, even down to the display case.
Pieces missing on both outside elbows look at movie. About 6 inches long on both elbows . But nice piece. The elbow pueces are like the back very top piece that single like it but smaller. Peace.

Is 100% accurate but the Kenner paint app destroys the whole statue... nothing like the prototype and for the price it looks like a scam, even toy companies as NECA can paint with more love their 1/4 Aliens but it looks unrealistic and flat. What a shame the sculpt is flawless

Use Isoproryl alcohol to clean the case with soft tissue paper roll.

This was an actual SCAN OF THE ORIGINAL SCULPTED LIFE SIZE MAQUETTE from which the suit was molded

Movie accurate they actually used different domes in the movie for different shots. Some were pretty clear like this, to ones that were very dark.
