I heard Chris S wears sunglasses so people don’t know he’s doing everything with his eyes closed.

PERFECT TIMING! My PG instructor whom I'm booked with in Sept knew I was a motor pilot and I bumped into him the other week and he took a real brief second to explain he will want to see the A and C inflation method. I sort of had an idea of what he was talking about, but wasn't a 100 percent. This cleared it up real nice! Thanks Chris!

Thanks so much Chris for all of your very helpful instruction both on the hill and virtually here on TH-cam... From your most LITERAL student Jared...

I learned the A's & C's method from my instructor as well. I'm no expert, but I have kited way more hours than my actual air time, and I would recommend throwing some opposite side hip twist action in when the glider is trending to one side and you keep having to chase it. Great video, thanks for sharing.

Hip twist is the best. We will do a video about it. Thanks!

@@SuperFlyParaglidingSchool Hi Chris, i also teach A´s & C´s method here in Germany. For me it works even better if I take the A´s with the right hand when I turn out right after pulling up the glider. I used to do it like you but now it works even better for me. All the best Alex

Great stuff Chris, wish more pilots had this skill. I'd bet that more than half the pilots I watch at PG events pull up in strongish winds with no preset way to kill their wings should things go "sideways," except trying to rely on the almost worthless method of pulling massive brakes back, only to find out they don't have enough brakes to keep their wing down, resulting in getting dragged or plucked. Although it's not visible in this video, I'm guessing you also teach the "scissors" method of As and Cs, where you move the As the opposite direction sideways that you are moving the Cs sideways, when the wing gets off-center overhead, which adds even more "steering" of the wing while pulling up.

Awesome video. I am a big fan of this method. May I add you should watch your left hand more the brake line is rubbing on the riser. I only say this as I have gone through a set of riser's and a brake line or 2 because of this. Brake lines eat riser's up if you do it to much. Love your video's

I see around 5:30 you have the Cs back on the same side as the forward leg. It seems more natural to me to pull them back on the side of the back leg. But i have to be mindful not to twist the hips as this will make the As uneven

This can be adapted to paramotoring too. I see so many pilots with no ground handling skills
