    You do good work but you dont need to remove upper ball joint you can remove the hub bolts .The bottom hub bolt break loose with bar socket short exstention then a combo wrench to remove hub bolt . past lower ball joint .just saying it saves a step . also a tip is if you damage the dust shield and for some reason you are unable to reuse it or get a new one you will have to use a spacer to take its place . Good job Rolando

    Nice work, you really know your stuff. I do have to give an enormous helping hand to the climate that truck lives in. You can't do it that easy if you live in N.E. Ohio. lol

    Was hoping you'd mention the reluctor ring-- nobody seems to and it would be helpful to know when to replace them and what to look for in terms of damage.

      I'm still getting a abs sensor code maybe it's this reluctor ring that's damaged

    I replaced abs driver side sensor and start making a noise when braking. After couple times braking abs light come up and stop the noise.
    Already replace for a new bearing hub and another abs sensor to the front wheels and still the abs noise. Did it happens or any idea about it solution? Thanks

      @@racawexa when braking? Make sure the little clips for the pads didnt get crooked when installing the brakes. Also make sure the metal isnt bent on the back side of the wheel bearing wearing it can be touching.

    • @racawexa
      @racawexa 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The brake pedal starts noise and shakes up and down like if the abs is detecting a rough braking situation

      @@racawexa oh. Sounds like the abs sensor is misaligned or not reading correct activating the abs

      @@racawexa on a previous colorado i did. I accidently punctured the grease seal (where the abd sensor gets its reading and it had the same problem as yu described.

    What can we do if the hub is stuck?

    • @hyr0llr
      @hyr0llr  ปีที่แล้ว

      Im assuming because of rust?. If so see if yu can wedge a pry bar or screwdriverk between hub and knuckle. Or also put the hub bolts in a few threads and carefully hammer them with a socket you can sacrafice to create a gap between the 2. If all else fails. Unbolt the rotor and your gonna have to just hammer the crap out of hub(so youll need a new one).

      I had to cut chunks of 2x4 and use my power steering to pry the rotors off lol... Took a sledge to mine and they were stuck stuck. Called up a couple diff neighbors and no one could get it so we did that and it worked like a dream

    didn't even wipe off the magnet surface that the sensor reads. it's caked with brake dust.
