If u remember something happen around SN8-Sn9 when they said about the regulatory delay and then I think there was a congress hearing and if u remember when that happen things actually changed and they were able to get back to flying a lot more faster, I think with all the voices on them again like this its going to make them do that again.

The flight profile went from normal staging to hot fire staging and then the addition of a interstage that's jettisoned during booster fly back. The engine count on the Starship went from 3 to 6. Engines on SuperHeavy have gone from Raptor to Raptor V2, and soon to Raptor V3. Engine count on SuperHeavy was 31 but now is 33. Presumably, the water and CO2 ice in the fuel tanks will get addressed by some new technique to minimize the problem. Future SuperHeavy boosters will be 10 meters taller to accommodate more fuel. So yes, very much a test program.

This current certification that Space X needs for the next launch is for entirely new issues many of which are reported to be environmental related concerns. I have yet to hear any new justifiable environmental concerns mentioned! The catch attempt is the only new element that Space X is attempting with this launch which should not require an extra 2 months of evaluation. It has already been 3 + months since the last test launch!!

There has never been two vehicles made on that site without changes between them lol. Usually somewhere between dozens to thousands from one vehicle to the next. I dont know all the little goodies changed inside from flight 4 to 5 but i know they changed all 17,000 or whatever tiles and the thermal layers below them. Almost certainly further changes on the ice filtration setup internally which was a major issue on flights 2 and 3 and surely several other things. Flight 6 will be very similar to 5's ship but certainly a few things changed last minute after learning more on flight 5, but then flight 7 is massive changes on the ship. Maybe im just wrong here but "no changes" is the exact opposite of how Spacex does its iterative process of learning. I simply dont believe that quote from them for a second.
You have to make changes after the former test. Boeing did not make enough changes to the Starliner after the last test. That's why they failed this one again.

That Escapade mission will also fly on a different carrier.
A product under development needs flexibility. No certification must be needed.
We need to dissolve the FAA space division in total. They need to keep their nose out of where they are not welcome.
