Are you measuring from the bottom hem of their jackets? Donna's only goes down to the small of her back, but CJ's is long like a short skirt. Or by the pant legs? Donna's have a straight line all the way up the leg to her waist, while CJ's have an outward curve at the hip. The straight part is the same length, but only because the straight part includes more of Donna's anatomy. They are different styles, not indicators of similar leg length.

I love this show and I want to agree with this sentiment, but I can't get myself to. It is indeed the President's job to communicate effectively to all sections of citizenry. If his or her choice of words discriminates against a section of society that may not have the same level of vocabulary (and by tenuous extension, the same level of education) as he or his team does, then that speaks to hubris, condescension and a wanton dereliction of duty to the people that elected him/her to power.
Learn the words then. When governing you should have to explain a great any things and some are very complex and can be simplified only so much. There’s nothing wrong with challenging the listener/ voter
Words don't discriminate anymore than guns kill people; it is ALWAYS the person wielding them.. What a bunch of self sanctifying twaddle. Use a dictionary!
I know I am a year late to this comment but to add my two cents: Any great leader will not only work to communicate at the level of their constituency but also work to push them to improve themselves so that, from that gathering of people the next great leader can arise. If our leaders do not push us to improve then we will see a slow but steady decline to the lowest levels of the group's intelligence. I for one will always seek out those who push me to be greater than I think possible so that , one day, I too can look behind me and be amazed at how far we have come.
Um...the point is that there aren't little people. Raise the bar, raise the floor. Don't talk down to people, don't hide what you are good at. The people who care will notice, and the people who don't care will have to when life catches up to them.
