HEy hi Gurjit I have been watching and following your videos from last 3 -4 months. As I didn't used to have much idea about cooking .i watched many videos on TH-cam on other cooking channels but my recipes never tasted as they do now cos the way you explain the minutest of the details . Now everyone appreciates my cooking . I have almost tried all your recipes. Karhi and punjabi chole were killers. Thank you so much for ur genuine efforts. And pls make videos on - matar paneer , kali dal, red sauce pasta , banana bread , easy grilled chicken without tandoor or oven , sabudana khichdi
we need pressure cooker for the fried chicken then the chicken skin will be golden crispy ,flavor of marinated chicken will further improve and fully cooked. The chicken should be separated marinated to emphasis the smells you want.
Use of MSG have no side effect as scientific community is yet to prove it thought there have been reports of MSG associated with some illness or disease with no conclusive results. Any one who claims it to have side effect, please put up scientific facts not fiction. I love MSG. It gives good flavor to food and meat. Anyway, who ever hate MSG should give up on all packaged and fast food. Good luck.

Artificial Hunger & craving for the food containing it - and you're asking for proof on whether it alters your system or not?? 3. MSG is known to cause throat swelling in singers. so above are a few examples for your kind info. If we wanted to eat MSG we'd go to KFC right? Often the idea of home-cooking IS to eliminate market chemicals such as these. Hence, the queries above. There is no cornflakes in kfc chicken. And your ego is weird. Tastes differ man. Im sure yours is good too. My dads american an he used to put cornflakes on chicken too :)
This chicken is actually done in just 8 minutes? 😕 First time I ever heard that. Most times it's 7-8 minutes per SIDE. So this is news... To all who take issue with the MSG, KFC has used MSG as a flavor enhancer for years... This recipe looks like it may come out better than KFC, actually. It would definitely be more crispy than Original Recipe, which is pressure steam-fried.
I can tell you absolutely there's no "curd" or some of your other ingredients in the original KFC recipe. In addition, you are missing half the actual KFC herbs and spices. This may be tasty Indian style fried chicken, but it's not even close to real KFC
use one table spoon equal parts of oregano, basil, white pepper and half tea spoon of garlic in the marinade. you forgot oregano, basil in the batter. omg and you don't add baking powder in marinade. whatever this is, it's not kfc chicken.
I actually use to work at a KFC years ago for and prepared what this guy is trying to make, if he only know how far off he is from that receipe he'll pull this video down from youtube or change the title.

Problem is Guru, your chicken cannot be compared to KFC, no one's indeed can be compared to KFC's Kernal sanders secret recipe, lots of people and franchises tries to copy kernal's chicken, but none can achieve that, first of all Kernal never uses red chilies, nor garlic, lots of Pakistanis run these so called KFC type Chicken & chips outlet, yet none tastes the same as original KFC, so really you should call yours as Fried chicken Guru style, that would be Guru original and not Kernal sanders. Also Kernals chickens are fried in pressure cookers. A more important ingredient kernel uses is black peppers, and you omitted this rather more important ingredient that steers fried chicken towards close to KFC taste, if you use garlic and red chilies and eggs, thats definitely no way near Kernals. Yours is definitely Guru style Fried Chicken. |BTW, I made a perfect cake using your cake recipe.

Yogurt is prepared using similar techniques to curd but the fermentation of the milk is done by adding two specific strains of bacteria called lactobacillus bulgaris and streptococcus thermophilus. Other strains of lactic acid bacteria may also be added. The addition of these bacteria makes the product standardised and homogenous, and i did not add those bacteria, i made curd, if you have yoghurt you can also use that my friend
Curd is when the milk is curdled by adding acidic compounds. Curd is more Paneer than Dahi. Dahi, we use in Indian cuisine is actually yogurt, no matter what strain of bacteria you are adding in it. It is always lactobacillus that is present in the "culture" we add to the milk, It'sobvious there are other bacteria present in the culture, we don't add them separately, may be ut is done in some advanced countries where you get bacteria separately, I don't even know, if it happens, but dahi is a result of bacterial fermentation whereas you add lemon or vinegar or rennet to the milk to curdle it, make it curd and then paneer or cheese, by straining out the whey and/or ripening.
