- This week I went stealth camping at Rutland Water, Oakham to give the ford transit stealth campervan a run at van life UK. 🚐
We parked up in my off grid camper went Rutland Water cycling and spent a night in the tiny home on wheels.

Those bikes are the bomb - never mind the bum!!! I love the sound of lambs and sheep and it occurs to mention that in my cycling days, I had a sheepskin seat cover that helped minimise the saddle soreness. Then again, you do adjust and as I note some else mentioned, finding the optimal height to pedal ratio is important. But am looking forward to seeing lots more of you on these fab wee things - c'mon summer!!! YAM xx

I used to do the full 24 miles of Rutland water all the time on my normal mountain bike wish I could do it now but torn a tendon in my arm and need an operation hope to get fit and do it again soon maybe on a electric bike

We stayed at Rutland water 2 weeks ago there’s a great spot on the island in a little car park right next to the water!
Happy memories, we were at Rutland Water last September and ate our butties on the same seats as you. Sadly we didn't have bikes but walked from the cp to Normanton Church and back.
Great video guys, put your saddles up to the correct height, be less stress on your legs. Can't wait for the next one.

Great vlog…bought an e bike last year and only just beginning to use. Live in the countryside with more pot holes than road so it’s a tad challenging to say the least. Enjoy.

Cheers Mark! Honestly they were great. Not recommended for long journeys (I think they actually have a different type of bike for that) but these were great for just popping in the back of the van and easy to assemble.

I noticed that Charlie's plate had some chips on it. They looked like they were porcelain. Porcelain chips can be poisonous, or at best made you quite ill. Porcelain flatware were often used on older camping gear. Please be careful you two.
Thanks mate! Yes they’ve been dropped a few times and bashed about when driving. We always clean them off properly but think we’re due an upgrade.
