The pallet overtaking stations were a very thoughtful feature to put in for times when those old ass pallets are holding back a line of younger, faster pallets trying to get by
The use of robots in this documentary, shows that; when they take over the World, they will live in very nice, well constructed homes, something that the Humans were never able to do.
The world and humans do not revolve around you or those to lazy to get off their butts and make their own life. I have avery comfortable well built home and a very comfortable live style. One justification could be they are running it 24/7/365
reasonable time, given that these automated solutions are developed in countries with high wages, good social security = high productivity

There is very little variability in the process. Why use robots at all? And do they always move so slowly? Trained humans could do a fine job faster and cheaper.

Gl getting big outputs with low personel on non over engineered lines. If there is demand and they sell all they can make then it becomes very muchcost effective. And they probably do sell all, as i have seen with block/paver plants. Theres hundreds of full automatic planta in germany and they all work full time. Sick country :)
I would think production is to fill orders. Meaning the finished panels are sold before they are made.
It's first world...almost everything subsidized... (By thirld world countries, of course) 😏
@@henryrollins9177 this is not subsidized. Working 24h / 6days this plant is very produktive and cost efficient.
well-train 4 dudes to do that and they will do the same thing faster. and a lot cheaper.
but no . we have SHITLOADS of cash to spend on complex machinery so we can not "depend" on well trained personell.
so we can fire anyone and we do not care a shit becouse we have shittons of cash to spend on every dumb dream we have.
cheers. now your business depends not on 4-5 well trained guys , but only on another business that built your business.
or on russian hackers that can put your whole business offline a world apart from you.
