I just contacted Blue Bunny about buying a box, and in short, this is what they told me: ---- "Impulse items are not available for retail sale through grocery stores. And, unfortunately, due to the inherent dangers of shipping items on dry ice, we do not have a service to sell directly to the consumer. Our suggestion would be to see if the Ice Cream Truck owner could order a box for you. The Ice Cream Truck owner would need to order from his distributor". --- On a side note, their customer service is killer. They got back to me in less than 12 hours :)
I actually had the Danny phantom bars pretty regularly around the time when the show was new. I remember it tasted mixed berry-like with a bit of lime flavor. I also remember one I got had his eye completely out of where it should have been
Funny thing about these bars is they aren't even remotely similar to "ice cream", besides being frozen and sugary. They're essentially just frozen, flavored corn-syrup, but somehow they manage to be so irresistably good. I think it's more the texture / mouth-feel, they just feel so good to sink your teeth into on a hot day. P.S. I've been eating these for over two decades, myself, and now I really got a hankering for one!

I saw this video the day it came out two years ago and it’s still one of my all time favorites. I hadn’t had a Sonic bar in over 15 years! Ever since I saw this video I’ve been craving a Sonic bar so bad, and I’ve been searching far and wide for them every time I see an ice cream truck, but I never could find one since blue bunny never came to my area. Today, I finally found a truck that had them, and had my first Sonic bar in nearly 2 decades. And my goodness, it was more than worth the wait, everything I dreamed of and more!

Oh man, you've never had a Sonic ice cream bar? I grew up on those bars and saw the change from the X-treme to Adventure packaging and the black to green eyes. They easily stain your mouth and tongue blue, but they're great. Anytime I see an ice cream truck this is my go to bar!
I bet any memorabilia with "Sonic X-Treme" on it is probably pretty valuable these days, even the candy bar wrappers (if anyone decided to save those that is). Funny thing as I never saw ANY of that game's promotional items when I was younger. Not many quantities of it must have been made. Or the more likely scenario is that they were all bought up by collectors as soon as word of the game's cancellation went public...

You can always order them in bulk from an ice cream vendor though and they'll ship them in dry ice. I love these and blue raspberry is my favorite flavor. But yeah it can REALLY stain your tongue and mouth.

The reason why the gumball eyes are not lined up properly is because the ice cream bars melt and they shift from all of the driving around the ice cream truck does.
I live in brazil and these bars don’t exist here, when i saw this video I thought: am i ever gonna taste one of these? Some weeks later my dad and my mom said that we were going to have a trip to the US. In the end of the trip i saw an IceCream truck that was selling these. I was actually going to taste them! The bar was obviously flawed on the eyes, (no surprise) and it tasted pretty good! It’s weird to think that one second you’re thinking if you’ll ever get to do something and in the other one you’re doing it.

Where I live, we have an ice cream shop that sells stuff that the ice cream trucks sell. Well, apparently they had the sonic ice cream bars for sale (and they still do). So I remember my dad coming home with a box of the blue bunny sonic ice cream bar (12 per box and it sells for a good price). So for a month, I ate some sonic ice cream bars...funny thing is I was digging through the freezer couple months ago and found an old sonic bar....idk if it is any good...probably not.

well, the shaped ice creams did have different flavors. spongebob was cotton candy and fruit punch and the dora one was banana and something else which I forget. but when it comes to shaped mac and cheese I still prefer it over normal. regardless of what the characters are, Idc what anyone says, they've always tasted better.

You got $50.. let me explain. So I was talking to my mum about TH-cam being a viable job option. I used this video of evidence. You talked about an ice-cream that looks like a fictional character from a 90's classic videogame for over 10 minutes!!! So thank you.
With the money I've made off this video, I'll be able to buy enough Sonic ice creams to last a very long time haha. TH-cam is definitely not for everyone, and it's not my only way of earning money, but it certainly does start to pick up after you do it for awhile and if you get lucky it totally is a viable option. Just make sure you have a Plan B, C, D, etc if things don't work out or you get bored of it lol.
This is probably the best PatMac video yet, no joke. He actually gives you some interesting information, and goes through the history of the bar, though I am almost certain that he knew this was a stupid idea for a video, and he has this slightly humorous edge throughout the whole video. Holy crap I actually remember seeing that Sonic X-Treme sticker on an ice cream truck when I was... 6 or 7. This was all the way back in 2000-2001 so I obviously don't have a picture but the ice cream is pretty good. I think the gumballs were either green apple or watermelon flavored

Where I live, we have an ice cream shop that sells stuff that the ice cream trucks sell. Well, apparently they had the sonic ice cream bars for sale (and they still do). So I remember my dad coming home with a box of the blue bunny sonic ice cream bar (12 per box and it sells for a good price). So for a month, I ate some sonic ice cream bars...funny thing is I was digging through the freezer couple months ago and found an old sonic bar....idk if it is any good...probably not.

well, the shaped ice creams did have different flavors. spongebob was cotton candy and fruit punch and the dora one was banana and something else which I forget. but when it comes to shaped mac and cheese I still prefer it over normal. regardless of what the characters are, Idc what anyone says, they've always tasted better.

You got $50.. let me explain. So I was talking to my mum about TH-cam being a viable job option. I used this video of evidence. You talked about an ice-cream that looks like a fictional character from a 90's classic videogame for over 10 minutes!!! So thank you.
With the money I've made off this video, I'll be able to buy enough Sonic ice creams to last a very long time haha. TH-cam is definitely not for everyone, and it's not my only way of earning money, but it certainly does start to pick up after you do it for awhile and if you get lucky it totally is a viable option. Just make sure you have a Plan B, C, D, etc if things don't work out or you get bored of it lol.
