Honestly love to see this man. I been struggling a lot with trying to get back onto a bike, but your energy is so contagious and makes me just want to ride again. Please keep encouraging safe riding habits, regardless of how uncomfortable they may be, they are the only reason I am still here today. ♥

That was 2 years and 2 months ago and I am still in recovery. Riding motorcycles is still one of my favorite things tho, currently working back up to a big bike, starting with my mini sumo crf50 😄
If y'all can take anything away from me, just remember to stay within your own limits. My situation happened because of the incompetence of another person, but that does not mean I could not have prevented it. Stay safe, wear your gear, and find somewhere empty to test your limits.

I can relate to these roads at speed more than the highways you upload . Here in England we have amazing country lanes . Being able to make very fast but still calm decisions to the most unusual situations around every corner . iv had gates swung open blocking a full lane on corners . , a car upside down blocking the road , cows , people , cyclists , mud , trees down and many others . There's only a few bikes i have ever raced that have ever been faster than what ever car i am driving from a fast car to a 1.0 ltr fiat . Its not what you've got its how you use it

With all due respect to gixxer, I personally think it's crazy to go 180 mph on the highway, but if you crash going 180 mph on the highway a suit can only help your chances of survival.

We call those turns "sweepers". If you want to get ready for the track you need to find a set of corners with little signs that say "max speed 15 to 25 mph", not ones that may say 45 by can be taken at 120. Or spend some time on a track. Mind you, that is great sportsmanship, competing without ever practicing on tight turns. Gotta give the other guy a chance. ;)
Lol! I lived in Texas for a few months - I was aching for twisty roads to ride because I couldn’t get my fix on those long sweepers. I was so happy to move to state with mountain roads again!
If I had to guess it's FM-157. It's a popular spot outside DFW where all the bikes go. It's literally maybe 5 or so miles long. I feel bad for the people that live off that road lol as it's treated like a racetrack because of 3 turns 😅.

I hope thats the bike you use on your track day! I would throw a BT tune on that for the extra boost in power on the straits and you might have a change! still think its a big mistake letting the Nube use the track he is very familiar with. it will take you atleast 5-6 sessions to try to learn the corners and braking but give you mad respect for taking the challenge as a pure street rider!
I’m giving my vote to brah for this race. I hate to be this guy on the internet but these aren’t twisties. I know everybody acts like where they live is better but in Kentucky our interstates have more curve in the straights 😂

2:52 I was in a situation like this yesterday except the car pulled out in front of me and I barely missed it by a couple of inches. I was going 70ish in a 55 and I seriously am considering selling my bike
You don’t need to sell your bike. Just stay ultra aware of intersections and side streets. When that vehicle sees you, they aren’t anticipating you going that fast and pull out like normal - but you just covered a lot of ground in very little time. Cover your controls at all times. You WILL need that fraction of a second sometimes.
I haven’t seen brah exhibit any riding that that indicates he would beat an experienced track rider on a track. He can pin the throttle and navigate between cars. Track riding requires frequent maximum braking and climbing all over the bike while not upsetting the bike along with throttle control and good lines. Track riding is exhausting and a blast. I be very surprised if yammie didn’t win.
I used to do some work out there and I’d spend about an extra hour doing exactly what you did lol those are that stretch of road is about as twisty as it gets here
I'll be honest, I rode a 2022 s1k in its break-in period and I gotta say, I really hope that they pick up a whole lot more when they are broken in and unlocked because I wasn't very impressed. Literally, my exhaust/tune RS660 feels faster. It was the smoothest bike I've ever ridden but really slow.

Lean angle depends on your tire pressure, tires and gentle inputs. 45+ is usually knee down territory depending on body position
That bike will be good up to 50-55 lean. Smooth is the key and good body position

One thing you should know about the S1000RR...You only have to use the front brake lever and both brakes will regulate. Great for twisties/track.
