It doesn't have to be this way. Every teenager is a raging hormonal monster. But in our family of five daughters, we never raised our voices. I was strict, manners, respect and consequences. They are all wonderful adults. But my children are "gentle parenting " and I don't say a single word. Even when one younger son, screams, hits, bites.....I just walk away. Those children NEVER MISBEHAVE with me. I made my intentions clear. I will not tolerate bullshite.
I’m so glad my kids are past the adolescent stage and are now well balanced respectful adults. It was a hard slog sometimes but the louder you shout the louder they shout that’s what I’ve found out the hard way lol
Hurt, fear and frustration. I've ALWAYS felt it's my job to 'back up' what the mothers' of my kids tell our children. It's NOT my job to do 'her' parenting, otherwise, SHE has NO authority. I"M THEIR AUTHORITY if they expect ME to do THEIR JOB as parents.

Children are not born bad. This is the results of bad parenting. Parents need to remember that you are raising future adults and the bad behavior should not be rewarded. Its not so cute when they're acting like brats at 25.

I been leaving emails since day I started watching Dr Phil, since 202I, and I ain't have any luck 😢, I think Dr Phil ans many other shows they hand pick who they want to help while other suffer badily, have bruises the size of a soft ball 😢 ony legs and back from my kids I've called many therapists and it has gotten worse😢😢😢😢 I've had law enforcement for help and nothin 😭, I pray things gets better cuz as a mom I feel one day I'm not guna be here cuz of the abuse 😢😢😢😢
Her mother is a narcissist my mother was a narcissist so I know when I know a narcissist when I see one my mother used to berate me put me down my father molested me growing up and when I told her you allowed him to come back around and he hurt me he did things to me she looked at me and said you liked it my mom was sick severely mentally deranged warped and tainted she passed away last year October 2nd of 2023 what's the age of 67 my father was abusive to her she was the oldest daughter of 11 children she was the fourth oldest child but the oldest girl she paid her way through high school she paid her own tuition to go to private school parochial school she worked and worked from the age of like 11:00 until she couldn't do it anymore my mother had a very rough life childhood adulthood marriage everything she was abandoned she was alone and she died alone and I feel like she just built up so much hate animosity and then she just hated everybody hated the world she hated life and she took it out on on everybody her own siblings didn't talk to her end because their nieces and nephews we're really close when I was younger when we moved away from New York to Delaware for everything changed and not for the better 😢
