You forgot to mention the advances in Cosmetic Alchemy. They developed the ancestor to modern day hair waxing. It was called Sugar Paste. Original recipe was Honey and Lemon Juice, then it was cooked slowly for a certain period of time to a very specific point. When it's super heated, it seems very thin and liquid, but as it cooled down to handleable temperature, it thickens up into a very plastic thick sticky putty. The skin was prepared with a little talcum powder to dry it and remove oils that interfere with the pastes ability to grab the hair. Once prepared, the still quite warm paste was pressed onto the skin, then dragged across the area to be treated. They dragged it a few times, ensuring the unwanted hair got bound up in the paste, while making it very thin. As this product cooled quickly in the this section it continues to firm up, once it was cool that it could support its own dimensional stability, there was a certain way they would flick the bottom edge of the paste back up untop of itself, then flicking again to remove it completely from the skin, taking the undesired hair with it. They would ball it up in their hand to reheat it, then apply to the next section. In modern times a similar product is manufactured for puritanical naturalists, or for people who have sensitivities to the compounds in modern waxes. They use regular white sugar with a slightly higher acid ratio to break down the disaccaride into its monosaccarides, then following an analogous cooking process, making it perform very similar to the honey version. The more acidic it is the more surface "tack" the sugar version has. If it not really grabbing much hair, start again, doubling the amount of lemon juice. Razors where not a popular method for removing hair, as copper blades are not dimensionally stable enough to get a nice, tight, clean shave, and also, the particular hair type of ethnicity of the Egyptians, doesn't respond well to being shaved. They also didn't use "Creams" to moisturize after bathing in Natron, It would have been more of a Balm or a Salve, made of Shea Butter *super moisturizing, also a natural functional UV protectant, with a much thicker Ozone layer back then, the UV radiation is a fraction of what it is today, so that was probably sufficient to prevent burning*, also Castor Oil as you mentioned, Black Seed Oil, Honey, Bees Wax, Rose Water, Neroli "Orange Blossom" Among many other herbal infusions where used in personal care.

And making food on the floor doesnt necessarily mean nasty, especially if it was an area specific for food, it would normally not be used for anything else. They were people who brushed their teeth and bathed daily, doused themselves with perfumes and shaved all the hair on their body to avoid lice and cut down on body odor; that was probably way more hygiene than the Europeans practiced in the middle ages, thousands of years later! And I find the filthy food preparation details at the end of the video hard to believe since the same people who kept such a high level of personal hygiene wouldn't prepare their food in such a disgusting way; the narrator probably 'embellished' that part a tad. It would've been more credible if he provided links to his sources in the description.

All this adds up to the problems they had since the beginning of time. They had a hard time cleaning their clothes, along with hair & bodies that developed lice-ridden regions, and the course of VD.. Ironically we can thank this problem for developing perfume. Further in history I can't imagine how they were able to clean certain fabrics without a dry cleaner.

Yes, I heard they were invested with lice. They invented a lot of things but no invention of killing lice. The tooth brush is amazing. The Chinese did the same. But the Romans also had toliets, Bath Houses. Steam rooms. So did the Greeks. The most of course was Atlantis. They had running water, especially the modern use of water flowing to extract the toliets. They took care of their hair, had shampoos, the whole nine yards of what is widely used today.
