Also shown, are animated features linked to plugin DLL variables, including windscreen wipers, head and tail lights, interior lights, LED destination display with flicker, and working pantograph. The class 323 is a joint effort between myself and Trainsimcentral: www.trainsimcen...
Just had to come back one final time when the Cross City for train simulator was announced
Finally the trains in openBVE are catching up to the wonderful scenery! Fantastic work sir.
This is just simply AMAZING! Very realistic
(i myself am an OpenBVE train developer, and currently working on a new york city subway rolling stock that was built in 1954-1955 and retired in 1987)
As usual Mr B excellent work.
You must never sleep.
Excellent textures,
Excellent animation,
Excellent 3d model.
Excellent work.
All I can say is that this is stunning, splendid and spectacular! Everyone is all praises! I think I'll do a little more.
I have a few suggestions: The last "3" in 323223 is partially cut-off. Please rectify.
Also, it'd be a treat to see the OHE wires being jerked/slacked by respectively raising/lowering the pantograph. I'm aware that the tension (mechanical) in those wires is as it is pretty high, but still, there has to be a jerk, even though a little, isn't it?
@apnargundkar: Not rude and boastful... Just bossy. :P I'll fix the 323's number when I get around to fitting the seats and other stuff inside the coaches.
I hadn't considered trying to animate the contact wire as a result of the pan being raised or lowered, although I have thought about contact wire and registration arm uplift on passage of the pantograph; I think it can be done but I've not had time to try it yet as I still haven't finished updating all the scenery.
too bad they didnt ever finish it.. i have a huge collection of open bve and hopeing they would come out with it .. i still visit the page from time to time just to see.
@tiiuful this is a FREE trainsim thats made by ONE person , please be respectful to railsimroutes , he did his best to make this as real as possible . ( if you dont like this sim then comment somewhere else
Oh my! That is... excellent! *bows down*

CAN YOU PLZ HELP ME, Im new to OpenBVE and the thing is, I don't know how to add or start the routes, I downloaded it from The Openbve web page and I did all it said to get it working on Vista but the thing is I cant start the routes or trains. When i click Openbve It comes up but i cant find no routes plz help!
When is coming out and were can i get it, that look AMAZING, is there any were i can get a demo version in its current state?
@Elfin1988: Sleep? I hear that's something other people like to do. :P
I'm only preparing all of this for my own projects at the moment; once it's released anyone will be free to use what I've created though. I did create a specially cut-down, completely copyright-free version of the existing X-City South for inclusion with the Ubuntu version of openBVE though. :)
OMFG!! Simply amazing job!
Thanks Mr. Bowden, I'm glad you weren't offended! :) :D
Keep up the good work! Save the world from the menacing payware sims! lol

My 323 looks nothing like that :l, mine isn't the best quality on the outside.

Will this ever actually be released?
Well the guy apparently (when he originally started it) was at uni and this was just his hobby. He dropped it after he left uni and hasnt touched it since I don't think.
Hopefully it gets released. My modified 2d variant is naff.

On reading my comment a second time, it sounds rude and boastful (at least to myself).... I never meant it to be so!
Pardon me!
