I have twice this summer made ice cream using whippingcream/condensed milk and it was better than anything you can buy in the store but I might caution that it really took more than 24 hours in a chest freezer to properly harden. I can wholeheartedly recommend this recipe but make it at least 24 hours in advance!

I am sorry but I got an issue of freezing the ice cream cos the whipping cream mixture was not stablized at all even being in the fridge overnight
Did you use sweetened condensed milk right? Not just condensed milk.
