Laura, I love your videos and have learned so much from them. You've had so many wonderful things to say about these grow lights and their supplier that I asked for one of these for Christmas. My wonderful family combined their resources to order me one which they ordered December 5th and it just shipped a few days ago. I wish Gardener's Supply would work on their shipping and communication with their customers. It was so disappointing to hear that my family was given the run around since the only reason I asked for this product was because of your channel. I hope I love it when it finally arrives, but oh my, they need to work on their communication and delivery expectations. It does not sound like our experience was unique either judging by the online reviews. I hope you are well and my Christmas gift arrives soon.

I have a few grow lights from Amazon that are fine, but 2 years ago my hubby bought me the black 2 tier sunLite grow system from gardeners supply. It is simply the best. I saw it on your channel and it was a total game changer for me. Yes it is more costly than the lights I got from Amazon, but I was able to grow so many more healthy seeds. In the end it saved me money because starting seeds is more cost effective than buying the actual plants.
and you can feel good supporting an employee-owned and socially responsible company!
I have to tell you something funny. We were sorting out old baby clothes to sell on ebay when my boyfriend says "I keep thinking we know someone who is pregnant that we can give these to...but then I remember it's the lady from Garden Answer and not someone we actually know." Just shows how much we play your show in our house. You feel like someone we know. :)

You should have someone paint a mural of your garden on the wall behind your table you are going to use for your projects or better yet have the picture of you in the lavender field you posted last summer made into a big mural wallpaper love your channel cant wait to this this all done

Hi Laura and Aaron. The grow light studio space is really awesome. If it were mine I’d spray paint the white grow light shelves black to match the other black ones to make it more uniform. I’d leave the wood ones alone as that adds a rustic vibe. Just saying.
8.5 months pregnant and you still are a dynamo, amazing to watch you. You are very fortunate and I love your videos. So helpful for me who’s not very clever, so thanks so much.

I like the sunlight three tier black units with Led LIGHTS AND PULL CHAINS. Love how you can adjust the height of the lights. Love the seed starting tray too. That's what I intend to use it for. Thank you for sharing this information on the different systems. 360 seedlings is perfect for my garden size. We currently use a home made PVC system in the basement. Time to move it up a little bit. You always give good information in your videos. Thanks
🪴 Question for anyone to answer: At 20:40 Laura said, she leaves her growing lights on a timer 14-16 hours per day. Hopefully that answers my question. Which is: *How long do I leave the grow lights on new seedlings?* I am new to this. Never planted seeds in my life. I am in Tulsa Oklahoma Zone 7B. Bought flowering seeds from Eden Brothers. Marigolds, Morning Glory, Zinnia, and Bachelor Buttons, for starters. It is FEB 11, 2022 as I type this, and just got seeds to start indoors🌱. I even have a heating pad, since I was going to start these in my garage that is never below 40F, even if below 20F outside. Hoping this gives me, to start planting now. Our safe zone, to plant outside is 💮 April 11th. However, I usually wait till May 1st to set annuals outside, permanently. Thank you, for all who answers. Because, I thought I had to leave on 24X7 for 6-8 weeks. LOL 😂😂 🥀🌻

Over the years I have heard your talk so much about seed starting. Have you ever tried soil blocking? Pros vs cons? I have heard a lot about this method, but I’m so familiar with cell trays.
My first thought with the bamboo system was that I wondered if it came in a darker color. Thanks for the reviews!
I bought the mini bamboo LED system a few months ago and love it! I have it on a timer to run for 14 hours/day and have noticed a big difference with my succulents. A big positive is that It’s a beautiful system.

I use two of the medium bamboo grow lights for my orchids. They’re terrific for taller houseplants. I leave the lights on for 12 hours, similar to what orchids would receive in their typical equatorial home ranges. The bamboo cabinets look good in my home.

I have had a very bad few months. From October 10 thru December 24 I lost 5 family members in death, so needless to say, I have not been watching much of anything. So this week I have been binge watching your videos. So much fun to watch you and your family. Of course I did watch the video of your new addition to the family, Samantha Grace is soooo cute. I really appreciate how on this video I could actually see your belly, I love seeing pregnant women. I had four boys and enjoyed every pregnancy. Anyway, I appreciate how you own up to the fact that when something doesn’t work like it should, like the small grow system you gave to your mother-in-law. You said it didn’t work for you because you didn’t use it properly. Whenever I’m in the market for something new, I read a lot of reviews, and it seems like the ones that give 1 or 2 stars are usually because the user is not using the product correctly. Not saying always, but a lot of times. So glad to hear your honesty. Great video. Congratulations on your new baby 👶 girl 🥰

Or a flat screen monitor that rotates different pictures so she doesn't have to settle on one or two. She could have seasonal galleries rotating, depending on the time of the year. 😀

What a treat - a room just for this. Enjoy your GREAT studio. My son has moved out of my home & I’m retrofitting his bedroom (which has great daylight) in to a floor Pilates exercise room & a grow station. Will have the challenges or a rug, no water source and not that many outlets (& the twin bed stays there for visits) but I feel the joy of the dedicated space!

A very informative video with all the pros and cons laid out. There is definitely a grow light for every space and budget. The new studio continues to take shape and talk of bringing some toys there for the little ones to play with sounded so homely.
Thank you for the informative video. Everything is looking wonderful. The only thing missing is a place to sit while at the worktable...maybe a mobile shop stool on wheels with a backrest? I am expanding my gardening tools/supplies and this video is a huge help.

The studio is beautiful and I share your excitement about the new season (in EVERY RESPECT 🙂!). I love the new table Aaron demonstrated how the surface lifts!! How perfect IS that thing for your tasks! I look forward to the time when I can purchase that bamboo grow light system. I have nowhere to start seeds excepting my deck. The prevailing winds seems to intensify during storms frequently enough to eliminate using milk jugs as potential seed starting facilities on the deck. I have the perfect spot for the bamboo grow light, and the stain matches my furniture perfectly in my dining room!

Thank you for the suggestion of the Grow Ease trays. I’ve had 1 SunLite Garden grow system (on cream carpet like you) for 5 years and been using those larger trays that don’t fit. This will be a great birthday present for me from my hubby. Ha! Can’t wait to start growing!

I love that room. I think you should totally put a round table and chairs for lounging or crafting with the kids. A nice indoor outdoor rug would be cute too.

I bought the shorter collapsible white stand months ago. It should be here in time for seed starting. I liked the fact that I can fold it up when it’s not in use. We’ll both be testing it this year. I hope that the light output will be enough.

Such a helpful video! I got the Stack and Grow LED for Christmas and it’s exactly what I need for my seedlings. Please, please, please walk us through your seedling starts again this year! I also have Lisianthus to start (for my first time) and I’m so intimated by it! I’m a visual learner, so watching you do it would help tremendously. 😆

Extremely helpful info, thanks so much Laura ! I’ve struggled with these last year not knowing which lighting system to purchase and tried the smaller DIY ones to move them around to any space but definitely will be getting the stationary ones with higher LED output without having to adjust the heights.

Very good explanation of them all! Never started seeds successfully so maybe if I budget in one lighting unit and some self watering trays it'll help. Love gardening, but need some improvement for sure. You are helping me big time!
