  • Steve McQueens 275 GTB/4 sold for £8m pound!
    Pininfarina was the coach builder and design wise they took a step forward from the 250 with a hint of the modern American cars of the time which were sporting longer noses. Powered by a naturally aspirated V12 through 6 Webers and coupled to a rear mounted 5 speed transaxle gearbox it is a beautifully balanced piece of engineering. The quad cam landed in 1966 and pushed out a healthy 300bhp. Oh, and the sound...aural bliss.

    275 GTB/4 L/N & the 250 GTL Lusso - probably the most beautiful classic Ferraris ever.

    To me, the 275 GTB/4 is THE MOST BEAUTIFUL front engine Ferrari EVER. How it didn't get that recognition is beyond me. It's lines are so balanced and purposeful and it looks fantastic from all angles. If I can own only one exotic car in my life, this would be it.

    Best car Ferrari built in in that period. I wouldn't have sprayed it red though. Looks much classier in silver black or blue.

    I'll take one of these over ten of any current Ferrari. Sheer beauty in function.

    Should have kept the original colour. It’s not 100% original as he says.

    Why on earth change the beautiful original color scheme into boring red on black?

    • @PeterPug
      @PeterPug 8 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Unfortunately, "restoration red" is quite common....I particularly love this car in silver.

      PeterPug007, I could not agree more with you.Any colour but red, silver being the best!

    yep.. and in Oz and esp around Melbourne, you can yawn your way around at 60-90 kmh max in 2nd gear... what a waste :(((

      Take it to Queensland there's plenty of roads to stretch it out on.

      Qld still has plenty of epic, empty roads, long may it continue
