Most baritones succumb to grandstanding and excessive gestures in this scene, when the music really indicates otherwise. I think it should almost be like Nabucco is thinking out loud (such is the trauma caused by his blasphemy that he is left with little strength to be shouting it out to all present). Great acting and very emotively sung by Bruson in my opinion!
