Just a quick note on FPO Ratings since it keeps on getting mentioned...I am not an expert in how the rating systems work, but here's the deal about when you form curve things generally...FPO ratings are being depressed downward because the max rated player in attendance sets the upper bound of the curve somewhere in the ratings math. If suddenly you dropped a 1040 rated FPO player, or a few, into the field instead of the max being 999, alot of players would be rated much higher than they are and 1010-1025 would be the norm for top players in the field, and the average winning performance wouldn't be 1010-1020 it would be more like 1030-1050. The fact that all FPO players are sub-1000 raises the bar for what a top tier performance looks like and reduces the maximum rating of what even a perfect performance could be...ie a "perfect" -18 for MPO and FPO even on the same course without any adjustments would be wildly different ratings simply because the top MPO rated player and the top FPO rated player are wildly different numbers, as are the average MPO and average FPO ratings. It's just a flaw in the ratings math which makes it harder for FPO players to break 1000 even if/when they put up rounds consistently above 1000 rated and we shouldn't be surprised when the field has to be good to win, the field is good.
@@Jase-ul5yifrom watching the entire round, Ohn stayed in the fairways, out of OB, and didn't miss any putts from circle 1 and made most all of her circle 2 putts. As for the rest of her card mates, not so much. It was kind of painful to watch actually.
Evalina had the same issue for the last 2 seasons but her putting has been great this year, so as long as she knows what to work on she'll be a weapon soon enough
Hard to understand top pros struggling so hard with putting. I get that yips are real but seems to happen more often than you’d expect from the best in the world.
I wouldn’t call them the “yips”, they happen way to much for that. All that she is doing when she misses is opening her hips, watch the putt on 9 she misses left and u can see her hips turn left instead of keeping straight.
The comment about Missy would have won 17 world titles 5 years ago is real. If you go look at finishing scores by Paige Pierce when she was winning it's like E or a couple down, nothing like it is today with the winner usually shooting double digits down or more
There have been significant course changes over that time though. FPO used to play the MPO layout far more often (Sexton and others were discussing this in the Jomez practice round).
I love the Ohn 'tude. I won a tournament Ace Pool throw-off using a Surge FLX when everyone else went Mid or slower. My disc golf claim to fame!! ($154)
50:21 I love the B roll of Ohn and Kat dancing haha! Two of the best personalities in disc golf!
That was so funny. Love to see it
These sneek peeks in to the chase cards are realy nice! Now i still can watch Kristin 🎉 Lets go!
It was needed. Seeing more players is always a good thing too
🦅CRESTED CARACARAS SHIELD🦅
I would 100% buy an Ohn Scoggins How to Do Golf pin, or disc or shirt.
We are in the Ohn Zone today.
33:50 "How do you lead the tournament and also be the only birdie on hole 6?" Pretty sure that's one of the reasons why Ohn is leading the tournament.
“Vicious Woods” definitely needs to be the merch theme for the Geese when they’re back at Northwoods Black
The 2 Hot Geese are the best thing on Jomez right now! Freaking funny Ladies! Keep up!
Hooonk! ❤
Ohn is so thrilling and inspiring, incredible athlete 👏
Ohn's shot on 6 literally made me gasp
Thanks all!
do an ohn highlight putt video right now

To my regret, I still didn't understand why Ohn is one of the best players - now I do.
Ohn owning the front 9 - how do I sign up for the Ohn fan club?
I think Henna caught Evelina's putting bug. Evelina is cured though!
Great to see Ohn shredding! Hopefully, Henna will block these putting woes/yips out completely for the upcoming USWDGC, or nuke the current form.
11:40 Kat is the Happy Gilmore of Disc Golf. 😅
Ohn just proved again that old and sneaky beats young and overconfident every time. 2HG rule!
*sometimes 😅
Ohn was unbelievable here though. I don't know how she did so much better than everyone. She was on a roll

Boom
LETS GO
Spoiler shield!
Kind of makes you believe in the world 😢 i couldnt have said it better ... Kat Mertsch. great tourney!!!! ❤🎉 Great win for Ohn she destroyed lol
Like the Hat…..
damn, thought it was mpo :(
But i don't mind watching FPO either :)
The Big Honk Theory
Henna's putting is unfortunately embarassing

She has to get it fixed. She's too good for that
Yet she is in the lead card on tournament where best players in the world are playing.

Can Kristin just be given a default place on lead card please?
Have said Ohn before, but now I add Kat Mertch to my all time foursome.
