In regards to the mulch question at 40:10 . It is easier when you have to clear trees and branches for new holes. Rather than cutting them down and hauling them off you can just shred them on the spot. Not only does it reduce mud, It also preps the dirt underneath as the mulch decays. Making it very nutritious for grass 1-2 years down the road. Unfortunately the way TX is you will always have bare spots in the fairways from foot traffic so I welcome the mulch.
With Cupcake on the bag for AB, we may have a new element to the Brad vs Cupcake beef, who is the better caddy 😂🤣😂 would love to hear what Hammock has to say about that.
Been loving the coverage and the extra coverage from the other cards. Camera angles leave a little to be desired. They are always at a weird angle rather than looking in the direction that the shot is being thrown on. I feel like I'm doing math in my head to determine if it is a good shot or not rather than just seeing the flight and naturally knowing. If there is a narrow fairway, I want to see the shot go down the lane. Not complaining, just trying to be constructive. Thanks for the content!
Its starting to look like Discmania is the biggest winner of the off-season. The young trio is on fire. Even with all the hype around MVP last year, their players are nowhere to be seen.
great coverage, loving it as usual! one gripe... why do they only show the disc being thrown on the bottom left graphic for like 5 seconds? put it there for the entire turn. I don't get it.
I gotta say that as awesome as the production quality is, I can't help but miss some sort of persistent "chase card check-in" graphic whenever we're watching snippets from other cards. Don't get me wrong, the frequent check-ins are welcome toward the end of the tournament, but they also make the flow of things a bit incohesive and jarring. I saw someone else comment something similar, so I know this bothers at least two people lol
I love the checkins, although IMO they should be lined up with the hole about to be played by the lead card. The checkins seemed erratic and sort of confusing. It is harder to compare the leaders play to the checkin play when we don’t see the leaders for 2-3 holes. The Coverage is top notch and I always look forward to watching it. Thank you!
@30:00 On hole 6, why would you risk OB hard hard kicks into unplayable lays? When I started to play disc golf (about 10 years ago) my home course was SF Golden Gate Park and we had woods holes like 6. You could go for the Grip&Rip, then pray, play that would birdie 30% of the time but mostly boggy. The smart play is just use your putter and throw it 130 ft three times then putt for the par. You walk away with a par and you're still getting strokes and maybe half the people. You can't win a tournament with a single hole but you can damn sure lose it.
Hey newbie here to Discgolf coverage: Why and how do they decide which players they are following? Like how are these players the front while there are players ranking higher than them? And why do these 4 players play the first holes now while the 4 players yesterday played different ones further along in the course? Thank you!
For the first round of each tournament, they do a Feature Card. No idea how they choose those players, but for each round after that, the top 4 players make up the lead card. Idk what that last part of your question means
What were they saying at like 49 minutes...."the scores will only count for the 15 holes theyre playing" - And something about the hole Kyle eagled was going to be considered a par for everyone....that part lost me.
chase card check ins worked much better this round. in rounds 1-2 I don’t care that the rest of the field makes a birdie, of course they will. it makes way more sense in the final round
Anyone notice how antilla missed his very first putt on hole one, ended up needing to make his final putt on 18 for the win because of his very first miss 😳 disc golf is craaaazy 💯
You should consider adding a cut line for the last day. Having the lead card skip holes, play through rain and play in the dark is worse for the competition and the spectators. You could cut the field to 80 players for Sunday. You're only paying the top 50 guys. Something to think about.
That ain’t “mulch”! Looks like it is masticated brush and trees. Giant grinder on a piece of machinery that grinds material down. Fastest way to clear large areas.
I love that you guys are doing a lot more chase card check ins, honestly I wouldn't mind in the future seeing full coverage of both the lead and chase card. Jomez gets better and better every year, love it! keep up the great work guys and gals yall kill it
Glad to see I wasn't the only who had to mention Crouching Tiger, Hidden Buckets. 😂 What a fun card card with Niklas, Matty-O, Joey Buckets and the Big Chill.
12:10… paul need to watch his words… matty been top 5 at worlds what…? 6-7 times and if im not mistaken paul hasn’t cracked that top 5 in all his days.. ive beaten both ogs once upon a time but without a doubt… matts game HAS always been superior to most… if he didnt miss those few random shorties he would be undeniably the best to ever throw a frisbee…
It was a very long weather delay and unfortunately a lot of people left, including myself. I had to get back to Dallas before midnight lol, I'm sure it was similar for a lot of others.

Uli giggling about Matty-o's hops is such contagious joy
Chase card check in’s are absolutely elite. Please do not stop lol
Came to say this! Coverage is the best it's ever been
Fax
First we give them siima and then we pull the matto alta!
Then we meet at the Tori.
Then we drink next 6 months
Crouching Tiger Hidden Buckets. Love it!
Came on here just to make sure this was mentioned
Matty-O's frog-leap putt is perhaps the greatest thing in disc golf 😂
"Crouching Tiger, Hidden Buckets"
God bless you, Jerm.
can we please get some merch with this?! Jerm is a graphic design guy, im sure he can see the potential!
I have always loved Matty O, but that jump just makes my day. So happy you’re having fun with it as well.
Hahahahaha, I love that I said “And the finger guns!” at the same time as Jerm 😂😂😂
Love that Matty O made the card
Matty-O is the funnest player to watch on tour and you can't tell me otherwise.
This front 9 brought such a roller coaster of player rotations, easily one of the best last rounds we've seen in a while.
Joey Anderson is gonna be fun to watch in future events! The future of disc golf is in good hands
15:55 - We see you Bodanza! Never thought he would make lead card coverage! LOL
Awesome introduction of the players! gave me goosebumps :D
As always, great coverage, and thanks for changing the music - MUCH better! ☺
With Cupcake on the bag for AB, we may have a new element to the Brad vs Cupcake beef, who is the better caddy 😂🤣😂 would love to hear what Hammock has to say about that.
Matty is your favorite pro's favorite pro. One of the best personalities on tour.
I love love love seeing so many more players in addition to lead card
Matty O looking like Dave Matthews out there
Thank you, as always to the whole Jomez crew, but specifically to Disc Golf's Holy Trinity of Commentary: Big SexUli!
Checking in with other cards is really awesome during the final round. I could take it or leave it in earlier rounds
Great tourney with emotional ending! Great coverage and commentary. Jeremy, Nate, and Paul are true Pro's!
The Matty-O celebration combo string is the best.
Nerd alert was great 😂
What a group this is truly exciting!

Playing poker with Big Jerm like 💀💀💀😂🤣😂🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼.
Much prefer chase card check-ins at the end of each hole, like this vid. Like to see the main card play the hole before I see any chase stuff.
Joey Buckets, hole 3... absolute HIGHLIGHT!!!!
Crouching Joey hidden buckets!! So good
Its starting to look like Discmania is the biggest winner of the off-season. The young trio is on fire. Even with all the hype around MVP last year, their players are nowhere to be seen.
Keep checking in with other cards and popular players this is great
Joey showing off the Berg 😎
Really happy to see calvin toward the top after dropping out of the last one. Hoping this is the year he can bring more wins home
Great Coverage
This is a young guns show. Dm crushers Anttila, Klein, Buhr. Votum devotee Joey. Barela and Redalen. Let's go!
Love seeing Bodanza on the bag
He made it to jomez first card final round!
We're? I didn't see lol
A few times but mainly in the background of hole 1. He has a cowboy hat on. @@pjdiscgolf8742
He caddied for Anderson, you can see him when Joey drops that big putt on hole 3 @@pjdiscgolf8742
For who
Great Commentary

Joey Bucket's throw in has to be the number one shot of the week
Crouching tiger hidden buckets .. 😂😂😂
Really found it dope how Joey Buckets threw in on the hole with the Guardian Aliens' mural titled "Sunk". Lil tidbit for ya!

I could watch Niklas through a disc all day. Cool.

🤦
Can ya not. Thanks
❤
Dr Eggman lost
These players are so good wtf
Cut the bottom ¼ to preserve that the best play a full round (during weather issues).
Joey freaking Buckets

Yall should mention the wind speed. Are we talking 10 to 15mph or 20 to 30mph? Just curious of how bad the wind was during the round
I hardly ever watch jomez’s best shots, but I would love to the best shot on each hole with follow flight
15:57 Bodanza sighting
it's crazy that's the first time you noticed him lol
Josephs form reminds me off Will Schusterick.
Check ins are amazing - great work y’all.
what's the artwork by the green on hole 3?

They should provide tee pads with tarps so they don't get wet and cause issues with run ups-not to mention grip issues.
"that's the best shot we've seen on this hole." lmao wouldn't be a Jomez video without Jerm saying that about at least one hole

Those trees on hole 6 though...lol
What does nate mean when he says a shot needs to have the right weight, or its too heavy? I ve heard Doss say that a bunch and still don’t get it help

I think Matty O might be my fav player
Why not just show the chase card on that exact hole after the hole preview to make it perfect to the viewer? The jumps make it way harder to follow.
“Crouching tiger hidden buckets” - Big Jerm
Nik looks like he'd score some nasty free kick goals 🦶
Guess I'm in the Forehand Nerd cart with Jeremy too...
Anyone notice how antilla missed his very first putt on hole one, ended up needing to make his final putt on 18 for the win because of his very first miss 😳 disc golf is craaaazy 💯
Crouching Tiger Hidden Buckets. Another Jerm Gem TN.
Joey Buckets off to a hot start this year.
Ya know, if I could throw forehand like Nate or Jerm, even Uli, I’d think that was pretty cool! 😂
what do you call an eagle, 2 birdies and a par on a hole? can't a starframe correct?
isnt the throw in at 15:44 a foot fault??
No
Jeremy how do we get the height? 😊
What an incredible card! Some of my favorite golfers along with JOEY BUCKETS!
I like the Jomboy style breakdown Nate does of Matt-O's C2 putt celebration haha!
Let’s go Matty O
The best!
Is he putting with Judge or Crown?
What’s the red disc Nikklas is always throwing? Md3?
Pretty sure it’s his c line tactic but I could be wrong
@@brandonthomas1465he has two tactic and i think pd3 or 2

Well glad to still see Anthony Bodanza on coverage not how I wanted to see him on coverage but I’ll take it
Crouching Tiger Hidden Buckets
Well Jerms forehand Is More than cool
I don’t think I have ever seen the lead card change with all 4 players
Wild Bodanza spotted @41:00

No way people can still question chase card check ins after this …
Mannnnn y’all leave my homie MattieO alone. 😂😂
"nerd alert" I'm dead. Nate's humor is so dry and I'm here for it.
55 seconds late and 9th comment. I guess I have to be faster next time. 🤣😂
