The current anthem of Spain has not lyrics simply because originally it hadn't.
It was just a melody from grenadiers of the Spanish Empire.
It has nothing to do with Francisco Franco.
Also, a lot of people made lyrics for the Spanish anthem, not only Franco or the Falange.

What is the UK National anthem? Because I live in Wales and we have our own anthem and so do England and Scotland. There is no collective national Anthem.

@@littlesebastian4389 You know you're wrong. While constituent countries do have their own anthems for sports, the national anthem applies as the UK wide God Save the King. England and Scotland don't technically have an anthem but the sports usage of Jerusalem and Scotland the Brave make them defacto. Wales has a lot more prominent anthem due to the language being in Welsh. You Welsh folks really like the idea of being Welsh, which is wonderful. I just wish more people here took it in pride with being British than going the SNP supporter route of talking absolute bollocks to justify hatred of the English.

Actually, the national anthem of the Netherlands, which was indeed written in 1584, only became the national anthem in 1932. We had an other national anthem from the year 1813, which was called 'Wiens Neêrlands bloed'. But that anthem was replaced in 1932, because it had quite a racist line in it. That's when 'het Wilhelmus' from 1584 became the national anthem of the Netherlands.
