Funny enough even with our clear sky we never saw the lights 😢. That is some lovely compost Mark 👍. Couldn’t find any elephant garlic yet but I’ll keep looking. Hope you get some sleep tonight. Have a fab week, Ali 🥶🌞🇨🇦
At least I saw the lights :) Slept well the night after, must have just been that one night, but it sets you up for failure for the rest of the day. Hoping to get to plot tomorrow to do a few bits, depending on weather.
the last time i saw the northern lights i was in my late teens. i used to go night fishing on the north east coast. it was a brilliant sight....................brian
I think the idea of a wildlife pond is great Mark but speaking from my experience I put ours under a tree and it wasn’t the best place for it with all the leaves and stuff falling into the pond. We’ve since cut the tree back hard and the pond is thriving and we have amazing wildlife visit it.
I am planning on cutting the tree right back, as it’s getting too big. I just don’t know if I’d have to cut it back a lot to make a pond. It’s hard to figure out what other space I have for one, as don’t want to use growing space, but then how many beds is too many??
