The extended version for sure will have higher swing weight. It's because more of the mass is located further from the handle, if only slightly.

I had a few of the prototypes. I prefer a 320g type racquet but this was fun to play with. I added about 2g of lead at 12 and 5g or silicone plugs on the handle. Played better. In the end though these type of racquets were not for me. I preferred my usual go to prestige/vCore 97 and similar type racquets.

Hi Harry. In the spec sheet, the recommended string tension was 45-50lbs.. ok to tension it up to 55lbs as you did, there..? And, why..? 😊

Looking pretty good! 👍 Similar to Pure Drive you say? That's interesting, I have a Pure Drive Plus which is also 27.5 inches (and is hollow too btw).
So this Solinco would feel and play similarly I guess?

The Solinco has more feel than the Pure Drive. That's what I got from the videos I've watched.

Love to have a hit with them and I will probably add 10 grams to both models. Harry, you also increase the Confidential tension to 54 to 55 lbs lately, any particular reason?

No foam = more vibration but cheaper to produce.

I wish they made a 97 version of that! Like a control racquet

The White Out is their control racket. It has 98 i think

No silicone in the handle does not mean “more feel”.

The blackout feels cheap. Like textreme and graphene cheap

Isn’t the point of an extended racquet to provide a higher swingweight at the same overall weight? There’s no advantage making it longer with the same weight and swingweight.

A longer racquet means more swing weight. 🙄
