    Love that overhead camera angle, Jonas. It really makes you realize how much ground you have to cover before you get to the net. It's like trench warfare..

      Agreed - it's also something no one else is doing, so super innovative. Way to go Tennis Nerd!!

    Hi Jonas, I've had Solinco White Out & Black Out racquets for couple weeks. Really nice, quality frames. I'd describe the White Out (305grm) as a classic control orientated frame that does everything well. Not a powerhouse but has genuine punch off the ground. My practice partner, ex pro, commented it feels like you cant hit the ball out with it. Very arm friendly. I put the 5grm cap in the handle which brings the balance back to about 315 from the 320 it comes 'naked' with. Very clever for Solinco to supply 5grm & 10grm butt caps as accessories to alter the balance of their frames. Black Out (300grm) is the Solinco frame where they seems to have pushed design R&D a bit. 100sqin, frame with extra power that would suit all players from Beginner to Advanced. Balance is at 315 so feels head light & would suit the modern technique of maximising spin off the ground. I strung both frames with Solinco Hyper-G 'Soft' @ 47lbs.

      What gauge Hyper-G?? I’m using a demo and it provide the most comfort of every racquet I have. How is the Black Out as far as comfort compared to the White Out??? Surprised you had control at 47lbs. Supposedly, the demo was strung at 55lbs and the ball jumps off the racquet. But, not sure when it was strung. Thanks!!!

    The blue stadium background is very unfriendly, looks non professional, sorry… other than that thanks for all the videos, idea with the drone above the net is very cool 💪

      Agree, the plain wall or closet from previous videos is preferable.

    I am getting ready to get the Solinco whiteout 300, the sad part is that I have to retire my Wilson Profiles 95. I have been playing with the Profiles since the 90s. I have tried to other racquets over the last 40 years of playing, but the other racquets I have used weren’t as stiff, and solid. I also have heard that the Solinco eats up the strings. I hit very flat with little topspin on both my forehand and backhand. Thank you for your great video and review my friend.

    Jonas, I really respect you for pushing the limits in terms of your technology and cameras. I especially like the angled camera shot from one of your indoor hits. The resolution was brilliant on that.

    Just played with a 20yr old Dunlop 300g after filling the handle with foam.....feels more comfortable now on off centre and frame shots.Easy to do,nothing to lose if you have arm/shoulder issues.This raquet is very appealing though hugely similar to the Technifibre TF40 305??I do wonder which is more arm friendly?

    Great review. I tried this stick yesterday and was disappointed at first time. Strange racket with strange control. But when I closed my grip more towards to western or extreme western, this racket began to shine. Unfortunately I haven't found recipy for my 2 hand backhand to feel presice and accuate. Overall babolat users especially drive, aero who trying to find more control and depth will be happy.

    • @sichinawa
      @sichinawa 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Ha-ha. After my grommets is fit and I restring the racket, I bought second. )) I think this racket is softer Prostaff with 98 inch head. Great for slice, and spin. Little bit mute, but I play 2 weeks, and feel excited.

    @josephhodge7114 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    I thought you were going to compare how it plays to the other 16x19 305g racquets like Wilson Blade, Babolat Pure Drive etc. Did I miss it?

    Very interesting racquet and would love to try it. Always love your reviews but this ones seems abit short. Would love to hear you compare it with other racquets more deeply. As this is a “new” model for the marketplace i think many people would love to understand it more!!! Please consider a video with more details about this racquet!!

  • @amitmulay5809

    Thanks for all the reviews. Would be good if you were to cover the grip shapes and the butt cap flares.
    I use PS97 v11 and v13 but had to customise the buttcap on v13 back to v11. I also tried the mantis and tecnifibre tfight 305rs… both have a different grip shape.

  • @DMAnton

    Thanks for other amazing review. Nice job! I have a Angell ASL3 and ASL2 and I really like the foam core. I’m considering to try this Solinco model or eventually blackout (but my concern is return my tennis elbow. What do you think? Eventually change my idea too to Angell new model ASi ? Many thanks, man!

    • @Tennisnerd
      @Tennisnerd  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I think the Solinco ones are a bit stiffer than the Angell's, so might not be the best choice for your elbow.

    I have a big question, I know that the feeling is important and of course the power you gain with every racquet, however would it be important to ask, how your opponent feel your shots with one or other racquet? Heavier, more spin, etc. thanks and congrats on your channel.

    • @Tennisnerd
      @Tennisnerd  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, I always talk to my opponent! But I can mention it more often in my reviews. Thanks!

    You should try 4g soft (or the regular one) with it! Considering trying the WO coming from a Prostaff, is it likely that I end up preferring the 18x20 version?

    Thanks Jonas, sounds like they pulled the wrong rein on the type of 16X19, better served(no pun intended!!🙂) by an Ezone-style tighter 16x19 through the middle third of the stringbed.
