We did this in class. You're supposed to develop the paper in a dark room so that the image would show more. Also it doesn't have to be 3hrs, a couple of minutes will do. And the subject being shot in the "camera" should not be moving otherwise it will be a blur.
thats not how cyanotype works, it takes long time to expose properly. I think you are mixing it up with normal photopaper which is how it works as you described
@@DeoxysAttackmode i made!!! A box with a 60mm lens (not a large box) and i left the box taking the photo for 10 days (all very sunny) The anthotype i like to use turmenic The final image i got a silhouette of the tree and the fence. Its work! but it takes to long I will try with cianotype for reduce the time from 10days to only a few hours and you need to focus the image (Sorry for bad english) Edit: i made in the last week
It is not only a cyanotype camera, but also a pinhole camera, called a stenope. But a real stenope is just a hole pinched (no lens required, there is a physical reason for this phenomenon). Cyanotype is the printing technique, stenope is the homemade photo box. fr.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sténopé For those who try to know
The chemicals on the paper change colors based on how much light hits it. He uses the lense to project the light onto the paper(film). Its how film cameras work
Chat.. I think i have a curse.. 😔 (Ultrakill is following my evey move and i can't suddenly think of a character when i hear an accidental voice line/ name)
i make my own cyanotype with coffee. we need water color paper and black coffee powder and water mix the coffee solusion and mixsure the quality of the coffee solusion is strong color and put to the paper and you can print now exposure for a 1hour to 2hours and the photos is nigative you can make now!!
Didn't know who you were at first because of TH-cams stupid new update that uses usernames instead of channel names. Who tf thought that was a good idea.
Sick i would see this in a few year to see how far you have gone with it

That is a different type of camera, maybe a pinhole? This one is different

The beginning photo kinda looks like the album Imagine by John Lennon lol

If you look up cyanotype or cyanotype camera on youtube, you should find more detailed tutorials 😊
Reminds me of that one Фиксики episode where they view the solar eclipse in one of these types of things

peroxide also helps!
Good try! Would you try Convex lens?
What kind of paper did you use? I'm familiar with pinhole cameras but not this...
It's a cyanotype It's very easy to get not nearly as toxic as traditional analog photography but it's really really really slow like 0.001 iso
Awesome!
It should be a little dot that captures light
No way... I want to do this with my boys ... I might have to wait a year because I know my youngest won't be able to leave it alone.
Круто 👍
I tried but my first images washed away
another one?!
New album cover
(Why is this in my feed it’s 1 year old)
👀
Did you know you can also do this with yours or someone elses eye ball 😀👍
use a convex lense instead
What is this
I dont know
