The worst part about this movie is that the "bad guys" are totally justified for being mean to the girl who ruined their performance and causing someones hair to catch on fire. It was her fault.

The movie was pretty good but predictable, but as long as they don’t romanticize a toxic relationship I’ll be fine but overall I think it’s one of Netflix’s better movies
Yeah because it's a dance movie. Dance movie are always like that re-using the same formula but it's why they work. Because it's a nice formula. It's always kind of a "root for the underdog" story with nice music and dance scene. It's simple but it works.

i think the only issue with the movie is that it feels like there isn't any specific purpose for any of the characters before the movie's storyline. like the characters just appear and exist, with minimal background- if that makes any sense.
I agree that’s what I was thinking. Like how am I supposed to like any of the members of the dance team if they don’t have any personality in them. Instead of putting random montages and comedic scenes everywhere in the movie they could have focused more on the characters so they aren’t only one dimensional. So I completely get you I think it makes sense

The best dance movie with actually good dancing are with black people ( stomp the yard, you just got served, the only exceptions are the step up movies

The choreography wasn't even bad in this. That rival guy was really good and Jordan was really good too. Also Sabrina danced really good with Jordan. Liza also did her thing with the split lol
