    Very helpful Austin, I wrote my "Ice Breaker" last week and I used the timeline method you recommended as an alternate. This video affirmed several elements of the process for me. 😀

    Great content. Please when doing videos where there is a lot of dialogue drop the music mix so that it doesn't compete with the information that is being given!!!

      Yes I've been told this. That is the journey of learning TH-cam. You get to make mistakes and have the whole world see it. But that's okay. That is how you learn :)

    One of the first things i learned about toastmasters is that not only do you present speeches you also have to write them. This was off putting as i have never been good at writing with the exception of technical writing (Manuals, Instructions, etc...).

    the background music is really loud and distracting. I wanted to listen and take notes but I had to turn it off because the music was so distracting.

      Mine was called " I Am Nothing". A bit of a reversal of an Icebreaker. It was motivational, it was funny- it was more than 7 minutes.
