Typically rental car companies update their cars every 2years, 3 years max, so I was very surprised MCO did not have any of the new 2024 Mustangs. MCO is a very large and busy airport, so very odd they have not updated their fleet yet.
II rented one recently from Hertz in Vegas. Drove it for three weeks all over Nevada, Arizona, and Utah. I was surprised by how good a grand tourer the Mustang EB was-comfortable seat, quiet and fuel efficient on the highway, decent power, good handling, and it looked great. I liked it so much that now I am toying with the idea of getting one.
It was a very fun car. I've always hated on mustangs, but yeah, even with just, that 4 cyl, was still a very fun car to drive. I think if I bought one tho, I'd have to get the V8
@@HammysShowcase Original price was 1,200 for 5 days but I got it a bit cheaper with work discounts. So it probably ain’t a V8 🤣, regardless I’m excited to drive it.
It was under its own classification "Convertibles". I rented through Enterprise, but their website is not user friendly at all, most of those rental car websites are not. I know for a fact it wasn't under luxury rentals because a rental luxury car would have been significantly more expensive. I paid around $400 for a 5 day rental. A luxury rental in the GT model was going to be nearly $1000 for 5 days
Hello! I have questions: - What do you think about the fuel spend? I´m going to do the Route 66 with this car, normal speed is 9 L/100? - For charge the phone, use USB or cigarette lighter charger? - The space, what do you think about X2 Cabin luggages and x1 Big luggage? Thank you!
We were able to fit two carry on bags in the back along with two large backpacks fine. Then you still have the two back seats behind driver to put stuff. Fuel economy is around 30mpg on the highway. As for charger, if you are using wired Apple car play it will also charge phone at same time.

Thanks for this video! I’m getting one of these babies in a few weeks 🫡
Glad you enjoyed!!

I booked one of these from budget for my trip to Puerto Rico. Hopefully it’s as fun as this video looks.
It was pretty fun. A V8 would be awesome. Those are considered an "exotic" rental tho and are like $1000 for just 3 days

Was the convertible classification under the luxury deposit amount or the normal deposit amount? It’s not listed on their website.

Enterprise says this convertible or something similar. What would be the convertible alternative to the mustang that you can rent from them?
Camaro would be the other option. I didn't see anything but mustangs on the lot. So your chances of not getting a Mustang are pretty slim.
@@HammysShowcase Thanks so much for the info
Also in the video say that the car has Apple Car play, is correct? With cable
Yes, it had car play with a wired connection.

is there built in sat nav in it?
Not to my knowledge, but there is wired apple car play and android auto. That's gonna be 10x better than built in navigation
@@HammysShowcaseagreed. Load your phone with data. Use google maps. Play music etc.
