I had this train operator when coming back on Friday. I think she changed lines since September after a different guy had probably switched. Don't know her name, but she's a really nice lady. I remember at each transfer station, she said the next station name.
Yeah, you're absolutely right. The East Bay definitely has more stations, land area and people, thereby making commutes from there into San Francisco much more hectic than for peninsula residents.
Hey there. Very nice videos. I'm about to study some computer science, and I'm thinking when I'm able of trying to make an app where you can hear yourself on a BART trip between whatever stations you want (including futuristic automated announcements and the like). Would it be alright with you if I were to use the audio from some of your videos for authenticity, whenever I get around to such a project?
It was taken midday when there aren't a lot of commuters using the train. This section by the way can get really crowded between 5 to 9am and from 3 to 8pm in the peak direction due to a lot of residential areas in North Oakland, Berkeley, Albany, El Cerrito, and Richmond, as well as onward journeys beyond BART (e.g. Hercules, Pinole, Vallejo, Fairfield, Martinez, Napa, Calistoga, and San Rafael). For such journeys, passengers board and disembark at El Cerrito Del Norte Station (commonly known as Del Norte BART on buses) and transfer there for their respective buses.
Watching this clip brought back many good memories of the Bay Area. I miss the area very badly! Thank you for posting this.

I've been up to Del Norte a few times, but actually never been to the Richmond (due to safety concerns) and Pittsburg Bay Point terminus.

Not the quietest mass transit trains out there on the market are they?
Doors opening please stand clear at doors+🎉
those trains are crazy loud in tunnels. especially when they go full speed ahead. why don't they do something about that?
BART has invested in new train sets that have been coming online since 2018.
How come no ones uses the trains?
