Robert I agree with you. It was like looking at a mausoleum. No taste, no warmth and no appreciation of the arts and culture. When I was growing up we called people like this Nouveau Riche'; rich, but without class, showy and vulgar in how they lived. The toilet seat said it all. In the past, the very wealthy did indeed have beautiful large homes (mansions) (still do in Europe and admittedly some in North American) which were warm, with art, beautiful rugs carefully placed throughout in order to avoid the hollow/echo sound, and possessions that were lovely, tasteful and comfortable. Every room was home. This house is ghastly. Why did they need 800 pound doors? Expecting Genghis Khan and his hoards to charge the neighbourhood? A home is a reflection of the owner and this house...well...right. Did I even see one painting on the wall? Admittedly I did like the stove in the kitchen, but really...telling people how much it cost is tacky.

We all forget sometimes how fortunate we are compared to the rest of the world. These 3 men and some other channels help keep me grounded and thankful for what I do have. They show no signs of jealousy, complain about how unfair it is for them, or anything negative at all. They admire the beauty of it all. I hope one day they will all get to travel and see all the beauty the world has to offer.
For the people in the comments complaining about how rich people spend their money, it is their money, they can do what they want with it. We all have different traits, we see and navigate the world differently. Rich people don't get rich by complaining about others or worrying about what other people say, they get rich by using that time to invest in themselves instead of wasting it on negativity.
With that being said, I would've expected a higher quality ping pong table in a $30,000,000 home haha.

I didn't care for the $30+ house. The quality of the floors, ceilings, fixtures, etc was very high, but the decor was very blah. Not much artwork or personality. Hotel room quality. Like a large bland hotel. The bachelor pad single man's house decorated in red and black had much more personality. Not to my taste, but that man had personality and it showed. I liked the fountain in the garden because it featured fish and lilies and also had a partially submerged potted plant. THAT showed a little personality and thoughtfulness. Who was responsible for it? The owner or the gardener? The toilet seat made from money--extremely gaudy, and crass, in my opinion. Can't you show them an average midwestern farmhouse or four-square house that an AVERAGE Amercan family lives in? Husband, wife, 2-3 children? Even an apartment that houses such a family? 2-car garage and a dog or cat (or both).

i appreciate how you highlighted wealth in america and then next you highlighted the poverty in america, you did a good job inadvertently showing the disconnect amongst our wealthy and that there is extreme poverty in america. though i will say there is tons of government programs and community programs that help people in need. there is many homeless in america because they dont go look for help and expect someone to sweep down on them and save them from their situation. plenty of opportunity in this country to have a decent life you just have to have the motivation to do something and be able to cope with failure and rejection and not give up.

Yes, that's where historical stuff belong, in a rich kid's house to walk on and brag about without caring about the history of it... but he seems like a nice kid otherwise from the little I can see about him...
    And agreed about the toilet!

At first the toilet seat seemed gratuitous to me too, but there was only about 8USD inside the seat. Toilet seats already cost more than that. It's really ugly, but I don't think they actually spent a lot on that compared to everything else in the house

Dang that table cost the same as my 5 bedroom house! Toilet made with money is sort of blasphemous. Love to all.

I wish the world's riches were more equitable. My hope for a more equal world. I love their reactions and they are seen with a humanity that moves. Thank you for being so!
