I really don't understand why people are thinking Bennett leaving is such a bad thing for the Dolphins. It was planned, and Kristian Woolf is a three-time Super League champion coach, not to mention he was probably doing most of the coaching last season.
Trai Fuller is a better defensive fullback than Hammer. Hammer is a great attacking player, but if he wants to be fullback, he needs to learn how to position himself defensively. His ability to read the play and position himself to make up the extra man in defence is sorely lacking. Moot point for the first half of the season while Fuller recovers from his ACL injury.

Yeah for me mate whenever you have a coach of Bennett’s statue leave your club whether planned or not it’s still gonna be a downgrade to put in probably 95% of coaches in rugby league so this wasn’t a hit on Woolf he’s got great experience especially the work he’s done with the Tongan national team as well but it’s still a lost non the less.

Woolf may have credentials in super league, but so have many other coaches. History shows when Wayne Bennett leaves it may take a while for a club to get used too being without him.
Dolphins have good side though if they don’t get too many injuries
