Looming 118 feet over historic Ghost Town, GhostRider is the single-largest attraction in park history and one of the longest and tallest wooden roller coasters in the world. Brave riders enter a mysterious mine, only to be strapped into gold, silver and copper mining cars and sent along 4,533 feet of twisting, unforgiving timber. Highlights of this massive themed white-knuckler include a dramatic, 108-foot initial banked drop, 13 additional drops, sudden dips, banked turns and maximum G-forces of 3.14!

Yeah lol. I like your channel the best for roller coaster videos cause you don't have all those stupid intros and its show in a one scene (from start to end of ride) and you know that part of this ride where it slows down than drops I told my girlfriend it was over her reaction was priceless😂

Same I went to knotts on Saturday but we waited like the longest time to get on bigfoot rapids
Recently went to knott's, I did NOT see the bars to hold onto. The first drop is no joke. I literally felt my soul leave my damn body during that.
No video can ever show how bumpy, rough, and fast this ride is.
They remodeling it so it will shake less

I remember going on this ride for the first time, I thought I was going to have a heart attack! I must say though, this is the ride I always save for last when I go to Knotts. Best ride there! Also, I would recommend you do this one at night. It makes it so much more fun.
I got on this ride for my birthday I turned 60 didn't see any old folks like me just teens, I made it through the ride it wasn't that scary it was to bumpy and loud. Call me crazy but I always want to do a coaster ride and this was my first big one. I thought my back would bother me after the ride but its been 4 days and I feel great.

davidkimproductions Xcelerator is fun, but it's kinda short. I'd go on it a few times in a row if the line was short. I usually just go on Montezuma's Revenge over and over since the line is almost never too bad. Ghost Rider is my favorite, and I always gotta do Bigfoot Rapids to get a little bit wet. :P At Six Flags, I like a most of their coasters I like Goliath and Batman and most of the others, but I felt like I got a fuckin concussion from X2. At least it felt that way.
davidkimproductions i wasn't comparing, or stating that it was better or worse, i was stating that this wasn't scary compared to something like Xcelerator. I am comparing to the same park since the person may be unfamiliar with SFMM or CP rides, and I believe that Xcelerator would be the most intense coaster there, so i chose it to use. I was stating that he could be somewhat foolish to think this scary, which it may be to some, hence rides like Xcelerator exist at that park.
Arent you that one person who is shy on rides when you want to scream but you dont and also feel like youre going to pass out.

Oh my god 😂 I went on this two days ago for a field trip I swear there's a lot more wood now (obviously due to the remodelling) but it's much more faster and horrifying for me atleast, But I loved it! Great video!

To people who haven't been I this ride. Here's what you need to know.
A. The ride (in my opinion ) goes very fast and I almost fainted and thought I was going to fall out my seat.
B.for people that don't like heights, don't go on this. The ride is just mostly going down and up really fast.
C. It is really bumpy during the whole ride
you are just being dramatic it doesnt go super fast and it isnt bumpy either

They are remodeling it at the moment because of that reason and people had neck injuries so they are making it smoother
They just opened it back up 2 days ago, its so much better now its not shakey anymore plus its ALOT faster.

I remember going in this ride like two years ago and it's so terrifying! Once you get in the roller coaster you think ur fine, it goes fine for a few seconds but then when it starts going up the pressure keeps building up and soon later your stomache starts to churn, when u go down ur face completely feels like it's coming off
If you don't get back pains, this ride is actually really fun
This is my favorite roller coaster out of any park. I like how bumpy it is, and I'm scared of heights, so that adds to the thrill factor.

I was here a few days ago by far the best roller coaster I've ever ridden
So I was at this birthday party, they all went in, and I was like, eh is not gonna to be too bad. And when I came out.
I was like OK IM DONE......
Funnest roller coaster I've ever been to. The roller coasters in Bush Gardens are a lot of fun too!!

That first drop is pretty wicked! It's no joke. The video doesn't quite capture just how intense that ride really is. It'll beat the hell out of you! Lol

This ride is way, way more intense in real life. Maybe one of the best rollercoasters I've ever been on. Definitely the best wooden one.

First time I rode this, it must have been back in 2004 probably, was only about 9 and my glasses flew off my face. my brother quickly grabbed them thankfully. Shows how rough this ride is, and that's what makes it so fun in my opinion
I recommend that you don't go on the ride at night. The wait will be longer and you can't see what's happening. I believe evening is the best time.
I rode this a few years ago and when I got off I swear I had to make sure my head was still attached to my neck but it was an EXCELLENT coaster .

I used to hate wooden coasters. The fact that they are made out of wood always scared me. I used to think that steel coaster were way better. Well they still are, but after riding this ride I began to love coasters overall. It was a fun experience, experiencing where coaster began. Yeah it shame you like hell but just know where to sit. Middle to the front is the best. The back is where the whip lashes happen lol!
Was the line really necessary?
Went on this last week -Was so much fun! Very Bumpy and noisey though, but thats what makes it fun!
That ride seems to be getting rougher and rougher over the years

Ghostrider is aggressive as hell and goes incredibly fast. I remember being lifted out of my seat when we would drop. 😄
the planks on the side looks awefully close. What if someone stretches their hands at the side, might loos an arm?
Thats why the caution said to not put your arms outside of the seat and it have tk remain inside at all time

All roller coasters are "tunnel tested". To explain what that is, they basically put a wooden or metal frame around the train that represents a riders arms and how far they can stretch out of the trains. If you could hit it with your arm on something it would be removed. This myth that your going to hit you hand is complete crap. Just a near thing theme parks do to scare guests.
Its fun, this was the ride that got me into REAL roller coasters
I HATE THIS RIDE!!!! its so choppy and just oh my god it was so horrible. I was pressured by relatives to go on even though i said i didnt want to. they said oh it will be fun it was not freaking fun i hated it!

I've been on rough roller coasters, but this one takes it. I've been on half a dozen wooden coasters, and yeah they are all rough, but none of them are as bad as this one.

I like this ride. The first time going on it was the grand opening in 1998 when I was 9 years old. I still love it now that I'm 25 yrs old. Just gives me a headache and shakes to much. Ouch!

Yes, this ride is very aggressive but I love that about it. It does hurt to some extent but it recently went under remodeling to adjust for less aggression and smoother tracks.

this coaster hurts but is so fun! i thought colossus at six flags was rough before they changed it but this made colossus seem a lot less harsh. keep this ride lol. but oh gosh make sure you only go on it once!

This ride was my first large coaster above 100 FT. I rode this with my Aunt, Cousin, and my Uncle, and boy I was scared to hell.
I went on this yesterday and the day before. It is a lot higher than looks and airtime is crazy. It’s my favorite ride. It is very shaky and if you want to go on it brace your self.
I remember riding this, and my uncle had to hold me down because I kept "jumping" out of the seat😂😁

I haven't ridden Ghostrider in a few years, but I don't remember it slowing so much before "The Drop". I remember ejector airtime at that part of the ride. (and I'm talking about the drop after you turn around over the station)
“The drop” is now back, you can experience that ejector airtime again, especially in the back row.
I remember when Ghostrider used to be an awesome coaster. Now it's just a shadow of its former self.
This one is fast like hell!! It drops quickly makes my stomach really uncomfortable but I still like it.

I been on here with friends and it was pretty cool. I went here my freshman year of high school. I hate the part where it kinda goes steep. It makes my heart beat so fast. But anyways it was a really cool experience that I got to go this place even though it was my first time going to Knott's berry farm.

Never again I had the biggest headache and back pain after this ride. My brain turned into mush from it being tossed around in my head
I live 5 minutes from the park, they have had the same trains for as long as this ride has existed. Copper train, Silver train and a Gold train (that never leaves the maintenance bay.)
They should shut this ride down. The wooden coasters warp and distort so bad that it's more like being in a dryer with a bunch of rocks than a ride. Ridiculous how it jars you around like a rattle.

Wood in roller coasters is about as dangerous as using wood in skyscrapers.
I went to this ride man its scary it trun out peaceful and then the horror I scream to death a almost lost my voice and I cryed at the end
I got on today,its so scary but cool the drops made me fly i couldnt feel my butt sitting on the seat for like half of the ride and your neck flies foward and its hard to get it back to place which was scary for me and i felt like i couldnt scream it was awsome ❤️
