Wow! Absolutely stunning. Best over 50 makeup tutorial I’ve seen all year. Natural looking and using minimal amount of products. P.S. Your brow technique is perfect. Thanks from another 50+ woman still wanting to look polished and pretty.
best ever makeup application demonstration i've seen in a long time! i especially like the evening/shimmer & shine add ons. i hear what you are saying about peach fuzz on the face . . . and i see the excellent results of your routine removal of it. i could not do that without ending up full face of coarse hair and wirey beard. i had upper lip and chin waxed and the hair grew in black (i am blond), straight out and longer and electrolysis was the only way to remove it; that has a lot to do with my ethnicity and hormones. your makeup application looks fabulous. i'll definitely use your helpful application tips! thanks! ~ Deborah
Your makeup is perfection. Very soft and natural. It’s so frustrating trying to find the right consistency for my lines and wrinkles. Right now, I’ve been using Merit and so far it has helped soften my nasty wrinkles. I’ve been debating if I should try Clinique face tint. You gave everyone great tips and tricks. Thank you for sharing 😊
It is so frustrating! Honestly, I filmed this twice because I looked so bad without makeup the first time. Also, I think TH-cam might put some filter on it because I usually look better on TH-cam than when I am editing the video for some reason 🤔 But softening it up and using these techniques has definitely helped! Thank you for watching and commenting 😊
Great demonstration. The colours you chose would suit me as well. We have similar colouring. I get my eyebrows done (tinted, threaded) because I am absolutely pathetic with makeup of any kind. It’s the one “luxury service” I will gladly pay for 😂😂
Thank you! I had a great gal who used to wax and color my eyebrows but she moved and I never found anyone as good so I just do my own and look like Groucho Marx for a few days until they lighten up 😆
Less is definitely more at this point. If I apply my makeup the same way I did a few years ago I end up looking like a harpy. I use much softer colors and a lighter foundation formula.
I absolutely agree that peach fuzz must go. My skin really dislikes dermaplaining though so I use a rechargeable shave kit that has multiple attachments for different parts of the face. I use the rice polish from Tatcha to exfoliate. This has been an over 50….actually almost 60 game changer for makeup application 🩷
Ohhh I may look into that. My skin has been ok so far but I have only done it twice and pretty far apart. I want to try the rice polish too. I have been looking for a good exfoliant that I can use regularly without irritating my skin. Thank you for sharing!
Thank you for being real. This was a very helpful confirmation of the application changes I've found myself doing. Great job!
You are welcome! And I am glad to get confirmation that other women are finding the same thing! 😊
Practical advice and pretty application. Love it!
I am so glad you liked it 😊

Ah yay I'm so glad you liked it! I am not a pro but have lots of experience I wanted to share 😊

Thank you! Yikes I just started removing my peach fuzz and am worried about the grow back! If it does thicken up it will be electrolysis for me too!

Haha I also have a term of what I look like when I apply makeup like I used to - it is not nice - but along the same lines. Your term is kinder ❤️
Please share what blush you use.
