Nah tbh maybe this au is taking theory that war happened couple of centuries ago so humans still remember about it and know what treat monsters can be with 6 souls and nukes is the most advance and effective weapon for solving such kind of problems humanity ever made. Like they can't just send entire army in the underground, if soldier dies monsters can take his soul

The humans does not seem to care about keeping the souls away from monsters.
Many people thinks that the humans could just send a swat team. But, they will most likely only get through the ruins and/or snowdin, but after snowdin, everyone will be aware of their actions because of the hidden cameras. Everyone will go hide, and you don't even know the true potential of asgore, hell, even papyrus. Alphys will just send amalgamates since, they are invincible and you know they could have ate frisk if alphys didn't intervene. And we aren't even considering the fact that asgore has 6 human souls and can use them at any time. Plus, he will not hold back on killing them since they are trying to murder every monster.

Even though the actual lore of this story is kinda ridiculous I really do like the concept of Frisk telling someone what happened--or Frisk being vengeful in some way.A countdown until absolute annhilation/to escape is so fucking sick and the title+songs are so cool!
In some community posts, the actual official lore was posted of this au and i think its bonkers . but here was my take on the story of 27 hours before I read the real lore.
=Frisk commits neutral run at least twice, killing a majority of monsters and killing Flowey once in a run--leaving the humans souls unclaimed in almost all future runs.(And in this, the underground is already in anarchy as in this run, Frisk killed every monster they came across but didn't go full genocide.) This AU main events happens after their second neutral run (And in this run, the underground is already in anarchy as in this run, Frisk killed every monster they came across but didn't go full genocide.) Frisk gets fed up and tells the government of the monster's actions and the dead humans in order to finish off the monsters.
Government discusses, agrees it would've been what they would've done anyways and send someone down to give a warning. This is how the news spreads underground, and in retaliation, Sans kills the messenger but unfortunately he accidentally breaks their soul as well without thinking. he takes the skull and uses it as weapon as shown here.
when the messegner doesn't come back, frisk decides to go down their themselves for some reasons to investigate on the government's behalf (and out of curiosity as they think they can just reload if something goes wrong.)
they lie about not knowing about the nuke, and so on--going out of their way to killing whatever monsters they can along the way. eventually sans realizes it was Frisk who sold the underground out--and calls them out on it (of which frisk then feels a pang of guilt for basically condemning an entire race to death. but it doesn't matter to them enough anyways. they were killed enough times in the underground, so the monsters should at least experience death once right? once and to never come back)
=i know it shows Chara but i think its more symbolic if anything. but if like. if this is Chara taking frisk then i interpret this as: genocide --> neutral --> high death neutral --> post high death neutral, 27 hours.
Pretty sure also Toriel needs to be alive,cause u know,Frisk gonna for sure require monster soul absorb to escape nuke since there is no flowey to help pass the barrier
And only actual boss monsters have soul which holds long enough to be absorbed
@@skell6134 Makes sense. So within the second neutral run, Frisk learns from the first run and takes Toriel's soul, allowing them to pass freely between the barrier and more.

We are forgetting on his final phase, he has a Time bracelet somehow and uses it to pause time before the last 10 Minutes (this is when he absorbs the human souls) Btw somehow he does smth with that nuke and Throws it at frisk destroying their save points (in short after Sans pulled that shit off his whole AU was gone. I swear this AU make no sense no matter how simplified..)
Well, if you have lv 2 it is aready genocide, i cant understand how did frisk maneged to kill alot of monster without trigering genocide.

basically what happened in this au is that humans found the underground and found monster so they are sending a nuke that will come in 27 hours, so sans knows about it and trys to get out in any means possible which means killing the player and taking the soul so everyone can get out, but he decapitated papyrus so he has more of the chance of getting the soul, and papyrus is still not dead.
oh and the humans saw the 6 other souls which is why they are sending a nuke, and papyrus tried to kill sans first which was self defense.

Also was sans tryna get pap's soul (absorb like dust) or did paps try to stop sans from killing the human which made him end up decapitated? I like the themes of last 27 hours but the story is kinda OK it can have some changes so here is my take
L27HRM: The humans find out about the underground and what asgore did to the six human kid's so they plan to do some thing. Some tryed to find a way but failed but one human got the government's help so they plan to nuke it. Later in the underground alphys makes phones for every on in the underground that can play games, play music, and have some news she said u can get this from the shop every one was exited but when some looked at the news they where shocked in 27 hours where going to be nuked. The news sperd quickly so 10 mins later the king was in snow din he all so looked in the news he said every on calm down we have some hope we have 6 soul that we have but... we need one more. In why they are here and I know why they afraid I can't blame them but have 27 hours left to find a human so I will have a team to look after a human. Asgore has calm down the crawd
