The thing about the covergirl is that you can buy that top coat separately. It is something you have the option of using throughout the day. Whereas with the double ended ones if you run out you have to buy an entire lip color.
My favorite HOLY GRAIL is the Maybelline superstay liquid Lipsticks. I have some of the Rimmel liquid lips too, but I find they're not as long wearing as the Maybelline - so better for an evening out and not the day out. I haven't tried the covergirl and dont plan to - not a lot of colors that appeal to me, expensive, two tubes, and I already like Maybelline so much💕💕

The superstay is just like the covergirl youve been testing so it would make a really nice video since they are so similar. Im not a fan of the matte inks - they dryer than I want my lips to be all day, and maybe its just me but I find them to be sticky/tacky (ew).

Same! And I think they've improved them because I remember trying one a while ago and it was drying without reapplying the balm a lot. This one didn't need that!
I haven't tried both brand , but I'm tempted to try the CoverGirl lipstick , I think the colour are beautiful and how it shines makes it's so gorgeous 😍

I have been using the Covergirl Outlast for what seems like decades now. I use nothing else, though I have never seen the Rimmel. It seems as though it can last 24 hours, as I have on occasion just hit the bed and woken up surprised when I looked in the mirror with the color still strong. I do take extra care to apply to the inner lip, let it dry, then use the balm. My only complaint is that they change the colors more often than I'd like. When that happens, I have to fish around for a new favorite color.
I have been loving the Physicians Formula The Healthy Lip Velvet Finish. I don't really find that any are long lasting without some sort of wear, but I love them all!! ❤💄❤
So, the only drugstore liquid lipsticks i have, and are pretty long lasting to me, are the Revlon ultra hd vinyl lip polish and the NYX slip tease lip lacquer. Love the shine and color. The colors i have from the revlon are act natural, power up, and cherry on top. for NYX, i have strawberry whip and rosy outlook.
The Rommel is always my go to long lasting. It’s the one that never feels gross on my lips and actually stays. I exfoliate my lips before wearing and it doesn’t give me that crumbling. I absolutely hate the cover girl one. The top coat doesn’t ever make my lips feel smooth for longer than 10 mins and I hate two packages and I much more prefer the doe foot applicator on the Rimmel over the lip balm top coat you get with cover girl. Both colors looked really great on you though!

The only thing I don't like about this lipstick is that Covergirl seems to sense my favorite shades, and then the company promptly drops them. 😔 (I still miss you color 525!) Like the rest of the Slashed Squad, I really trust your insights. Thank you.
The BEST long lasting lipstick is Revlon Colorstay Ultimate Liquid Lipcolor. I have been using this for years, and it is the best one on the market. I put it on in the morning and it stays all day, through eating and drinking, and doesn’t come off until I remove it with my make up remover. I don’t even have to take it with me for touchups. And it goes on in 2 light coats, and needs no extra topcoat. Is very comfortable and not drying to the lips. I wish Revlon would push this one because it’s the best long lasting lipstick out there!

My fave long lasting lippy is SeneGence LipSense in Sheer Berry. Does not dry out your lips and actually heals your lips from within which is weird but true.
Yes it has SD Alcohol in it so if your lips are chapped or sunburned it will sting, but it goes away with exclusive usage of LipSense. Plus with the alcohol in it means it has a lot longer shelf life since it is sanitary every time you dip your wand back in the tube.
I believe they are, because I remember trying the CG ones several years ago and feeling like my lips were shriveling up. This one didn't do that at all, and I never had to reapply the balm throughout the day!

The rimmel stay matte liquid lip is one of my faves as far as transferproof and long lasting without being too drying

I love the covergirl one💓 My favorite is Colourpop liguid lippies right now.I ordered some revlon lipsticks, going to test them.
Colourpop ones are super comfortable and long wearing! I'm heading to Ulta today with my 20% off coupon to pick some up!

24 hour super stay by Maybelline! I’ve been wearing it for 15 years. It doesn’t last perfectly for 24, but it does last all day.

24 hour super stay is not what you think it is...it’s a liquid with a balm top coat and it’s seriously hands down the best of the bunch

I can’t remember, but can you reapply the cover girl one? Or it has to be removed? I remember it being soooo drying.
I wouldn't reapply either of these on top of a worn layer. The texture is so thin, you'd probably be able to see the layer line.
Compare them to the Chanel version please. Great video. I wear both of those brands!

I love the Rimmel Provocalips, but I wish that it came in more shades.

Those are the only two that last more than an hour 😭 it's so weird! I exfoliate, moisturize, prime , nothing helps.
