Thank you for sharing what you did especially about getting help early. There is such a stigma I think for pastors especially that they can’t have rough marriages, that their marriages have to be better than everyone else’s, that they don’t need counseling. It’s so not true. We are normal people as pastors families and have normal marriage problems and need to work at it probably even harder. We’ve been married 25 years this year both from divorced families determined to never use the DWORD in our vocabulary, whether it’s pronounced the right way or not LOL. I too wish we had sought out help earlier and more often. Blessings to you both and congratulations on everything in your life!
The kid question of your kids 10 yrs from now, what it will be like? I'm LiVING that question RIGHT NOW. I would imagine that 10 years ago. I have a 17, 15, 14, & 13 yr old BOYS right now. So imagine my life 10 yrs ago, it was so hard. NOW, it's still hard.. BUT different hard and I'm LOVING this stage. I struggled a lot when they were younger. I look back and wished I'd given myself more grace. I was too much of a perfectionist. Long story short ....grace every day. But seriously I have amazing boys making mostly good choices, which helps a lot too. Best of wishes to you both. Blessings to your family! Happy 10 year anniversary!

There is so much pressure and stress lifted knowing that it’s okay to not always be perfect (even if everyone thinks you are from the outside!) and still have a beautiful loving marriage ❤️

LOL you guys make me laugh , My youngest is 20 years old and we had our 25th anniversary last May , All I will say is I remember our 10th and it has gone so quick , I think the kids make it go quick as they get through school so quick , so Happy 10th anniversary and have fun for the future .
