I love Noel's sense of humour, so quirky and random but endearingly funny! I love that different comedians have different traits and things that define them... Noel Fielding and Russel Brand together... It was a magical moment many years ago! 😂
Crikey, so many keyboard critics. Noel's humour and art are not for everyone, but then, whose is? Stand-up may not be his strong suit, but this was 15 years ago, so maybe take 30 seconds to Google what he's done since. He's absolutely brilliant with Richard Ayoade on the Big Fat Quiz shows.
Hahaha ...Noel’s character from IT Crowd is classic! "Keep away from me, you Goblin!" I love his random little stories, almost as weird as Theo Von’s but with a British reference pool
yeah if he wasn’t taken i’d definitely be hoping the whole “you’ve got a face, i’ve got a face, it’s all gonna be okay” was an invite for a backstage pass … but alas i only watch and admire from afar 🖤🖤
Um excuse me, everyone who thought this wasn't funny, is also lacking an imaginative sense of humor and joy, and is most likely just jealous of Noels sexy moves haha
I think he’s more of an acquired taste. His is a very unique form of comedy, so you can’t really blame people for not getting it or not thinking it’s funny. Personally, I like his stand up, but most of it isn’t really laugh out loud funny to me. It’s more entertaining and laugh quietly in my head type of funny. I think he was at his best during the Mighty Boosh. And broad generalizations like “anyone who thought this wasn’t funny is also lacking an imaginative sense of humor and joy,” are just dead wrong and seem judgmental from my point of view.
I watch the rest of the video in hopes of even laughing one time. It did not happen. He didn’t tell any jokes he just talked a whole bunch of nonsense. That’s not what a comedian is. If you want funny go watch Jim Gaffigan go watch Paula Poundstone go watch Stephen Wright!
His Dad was the head of Royal Mail when he was younger and is now on a very popular Big Bro co TV show..so you can imagine how he 'rose to fame'... The Emperor's New Clothes??.......
As someone who never heard about him PLEASE send me to his best stuff. If THIS isnt him at his best, i need to know him in his element. Cause I was laughing my ass off at how different yet hilareous this was
@@AshBlossomWorshiper as noted, The" Mighty Boosh" is a sketch comedy show he did that was fantastic, you can see clips from it all over youtube. The "Old Gregg" sketch is possibly the most culturally memetic thing that came out of that show, but lots of great sketches all around. He's also hilarious on a variety of British comedy panel shows, and he was on a season of Taskmaster (UK) too.
He's not the best with words, charisma or punch lines.... But damn, is this man good at physical comedy! 😅 He could be like another Chaplin, I would imagine.... Edit: I mean he clearly does have charisma, but in a weird awkward way, that just makes me feel too uncomfortable watching......
@@kylebell39 Yeah he wasn't funny in those either. Does he do anything I'd consider funny, ever? No? Didn't think so. Glad you like him, though. I just don't like halfwit clowns. I wish I did.
@@rustylee1836 You sure seem to know a lot of what he apparently wasn't funny in. Sorry somebody peed in your cornflakes; it's okay that you don't like halfwit clowns, because Noel isn't one of them.

Noel would make a hell of an art teacher
Nobody embodies art teacher like Noel Fielding
Life model more like😉
a trendy art teacher

He’s so precious. Him and Russell. National treasures.
He is such an adorable and weird human being. ❤️
it gives me hope
Weird right. Adorable? Not so much.
Lmfao This guy is hilarious. Finally someone who can get under my depression and bring out the laughs.

If you're 14 and myspace is still being used primarily
UGH YESSS FINALLY SOMEBODY AGREES AAGGHHH
This was almost 20 years ago...but he prettt much looks the same now
But the description of this video claims that "bo bhurnam" and "john mulaney" (newcomers)....so I do not know what drugs they are on

Just adorable and a little unnerving ❤
I watched this video for the first time sometime around 2009
nothing was the same ever since
Omg how am I just finding out about him? 😂 I love his sense of humour!
Search Old Gregg if you haven’t seen it. Hilarious 😂
Love this man!
He's a being a bit of the Hitcher here and i love it😂
This is so British that suddenly I fancy some mushy peas and also just remembered to schedule my next dentist appointment
I think he should be an actor in movies! He would be great!
Why? Fail to see talent or interesting character. Gives me thecreeps.
Genius
I laughed atleast once. And it seems like the crowd enjoyed it
Amazingly many people do not know Noel Fielding was/is athletically gifted as well...
This is gut wrenching

Not that funny. Seems desperate

I didn't find him the slightest bit funny. Not my kind of humour. I'll stick with the two Ronnies. That's real comedy.

Is this guy from the 70s glam rock scene?
Yes.
He never left it
Goth which was a few years after glam.
This is somewhat neutral
Watched Great British Baking show with my wife, we looked up his standup because I was curious and… won’t be looking up any more.
Loved him on the Baking Show! He's so NICE and always says the right thing, he's encouraging and wickedly funny too!
0:53 I love that
This is amazing
He’s ahead of his time in everything he does. There are so many jokes here with subtext and layers so nevemind the daft punks
Old Greg , scaly man fish
Omg, when he doesn't do his Richmond voice, he just sounds like Russell Brand.... 😅😳😱
I knew this was about horses
I'm old greggg
Noel is clearly better at sketch stuff.

That was lame!
Open mic nights rarely work out well. At least he tried, I guess.
Made it a whole minute. The only funny thing about this guy is how extremely high he is. It's impressive he's still upright.
It's abstract british humour , it's not for everyone , kinda like marmite
Hes bot high thats literally how he is everytime we see him, ita his personality, hes literally vegan and abstinent
