Absolutely! I can finally use thermal bomb and/or FASER beam. I run an all ash build with feed the flames and FASER to go with Ash blast. I literally use the same mods. I just swapped the overheat ones with FASER mods. Great video, if I EVER get the Acari legs, I’ll switch to this build in a heartbeat!!!!
Hi Buzz, i am currently using a mad pyro build (in my opinion), key items and skills are: legendary set "scorched zealot" (only using the head, glove and shoes), using the skills feed the flame and faser beam. i swapped out all the armor's mod for fast cooldown and damage potential for the 2 skills and used the mods "brawl" and "martial arts" to further enhance the set's melee skill. although i have yet to even finish the game once, so i have some mods yet to unlock, but what i already get is a mage which dont even need a gun, i just take turn blasting feed the flame, melee and faser, the 3 skills can dish out damage very quickly, often 1 shot killing multiple enemies like breacher with melee or faser. but i do have a question, i m not sure how to use my 3rd skill slot and it seems like the guns are not helping to further boost my character. any advice?
Im new on the game and started as a pyro, already in end game and have my own build for solo or group on ct15, this build looks like really fun too, it would be cool if they add Build slots on the game.
Love your content, and love the way you explain your rotation. I feel like a lot of creators miss that step and leave us guessing. Just coming back to the game (yesterday!) and love the new ability to choose your legendary/reroll. Its about time the devs took those requests to heart. Much more enjoyable. Finally got that damn Inferno Seed I was missing for months on end... time to go for my acari.
WOW I can't believe how good this is. I got fed up using the pyro because I couldn't do any damage AT ALL. I think I'm one tier 3 mod short of this build, but I will eventually get it now. I cannot believe how crazy good this is, Thank You So much my friend this is absolutely insanely good.
I already had a well-sustainable Pyro, but am going to give this a try (with a little fine tuning to fit my playstyle) and see how it works. I've already been blown away trying out the Devastator build you posted...it's super spicy and I love it!

Pre New Horizons my Techno was my CT solo go-to. Now my Pyro feels better. I'm going to check this build out and see if it's an even better fit. I still plan on finding a Techno build that works for me later on.

Which build do you recommend when only playing coop? Im fresh lvl 30 with my friends and playing with volcanic shots and specc into ash breaker tree. How long is it viable? Or should i respecc?
Question the ashen boost mod where you do 20% more damage against ash inflicted enemy's where do you get that can't find anything on TH-cam, and the gloves and boots are the stats there fixed or do i have to get lucky.
Returning player coming back to see how much the builds have changed with all the supposed balancing. This is more or less the same set up pyromancers would shoot for when the game first came out. I was hoping the other sets had been buffed but I guess this is still the king pyro set up. Are the other classes the same? Technomancers still only get by on blight round builds and so on?
i have to say that in outriders, by far my fave class is the pyromancer, but i always feel like i cant get out of the overheat ash blast build because it's the only thing i so far dont really have issues surviving while also doing enough, not great, but enough damage, i've tried hybrid builds which feels extremely glassy like a tiny perfo looks at you funny and 90% life gone, i've tried some other builds as well but i always end up having to return to overheat ash blast because i cant stand getting downed so often and have to get a squad member to res me :/
Acari is the main set almost every powerful Pyro build is built upon. For the largest damage output in the shortest amount of time, the Ash Blast/Overheat setup is the way to go. I've also messed around with a Tank Melee build, Faser Beam and even a Debuff setup. I always seem to come back to this one.
How do oyu get ash blasts cooldown so low? I have all of the mods and gear with cooldown reduciton but its still at 16 seconds long cooldown. Does upgrading the cooldown reduction to max really make this muh of a difference? That's the only thing i havnt done yet.
For farming gear, I mix it up between checking the vendors, and farming the Haurus bosses at The Dune. Try World Tier 5 or 6 and hit them.over and over.
I honestly would legitimately enjoy this game if there was an open world section. All looter shooters have these areas to keep the game feeling fully instanced. Outriders feels so tiny.
I just need to get good because all my friends that are techy and the tank are the same level as me but they hit so much harder then me. Idk what to do it seems like I need to get full legendarys while my friends are just using purples. Please help maybe give me a tip? or something I begg you.
Question: how do I even get to this point, without getting melted by high-tier baddies while I'm struggling just to find middling loot? Isn't all this "best loot" dropped at WT15 and CT15?
A few questions Lt. Why did you say if you can hipfire using funeral pyre it will unleash multiple claymore torrents and you can destroy mobs quickly ? Do you get more Shadow comets or claymore torrents if you hipfire? Does it hit more targets/ do more dmg ? Also - If heatwave does more dmg the more enemies it hits, then would not having 3x heatwaves be preferable ? If you used ride the wave & tidal wave mods both along with the other ? Why not use moaning winds with torment n agony instead of radiation splash ? I figured just to avoid the repetitiveness of moaning winds on every weapon.
Oh forgot to say, absolutely liking the detailed explanations of the basics or the we tend to forget or the secrets and knowledge unshared, lol. Seriously though, great vid man. Definitely the #1 channel on YT for all things Outriders .
I use claymore torrent over shadow comet. I mean if claymore torrents does 207k every 2 seconds and shadow comet does 231k but every 3.5 seconds. In 6 seconds claymore torrent will do 3 stacks f 207k dmg = 600k dmg. In 7 seconds Shadow comet does 2 stacks @ 231k = 462k dmg. Is my math wrong or am I missing something Lt ? 🤣 Dispensaries on NM are off the chain and I'm a preferred customer. So I could have overlooked something.
I have found that if you hipfire the Funeral Pyre with those mods, it will drop multiple Anomaly Swords down, especially if the mobs are tightly packed together. 3 heatwaves sounds great, but the animations really slow you down and it takes up a valuable mod slot to achieve it. Finally, on my secondary weapon, I am using moaning winds.
I dont have death sentence so instead i use untamed power which is so fun to play, it activate everytime you use a skill, and at the end if u use it correctly it does as much dmg as moaning winds. It does have it's disatvantages, cause you have to run to the middle of a pack of enemies and risk death but when you start spaming the living shit out of every skill you have and see everyone around you dissapear sattisfaction is guaranteed. Not a solo build thou.
as a trickster/techno main i think its about time to give up my fire power builds for awhile and start working on pyro. i want to get away from gun builds and work on pure annihilation via anomaly power 😈 wish me luck on gear drops lmaoo

Is there a valid bottom tree build for Pyro? There are such flashy abilities that I want to use, but I feel restricted to using the kinda flavorless ones
HW/TB/Eruption. Bottom tree is all anomaly and explosive cooldown which helps thermal bomb and eruption. Just mod it out right with either Acari or Lava Lich for the set bonus for Heat wave or eruption

@@LtBuzzLitebeer oh that's probably 50% of the reason why. I think the other 50% is that destiny fans like addicts lol. They can't put the game down or care to try anything else. As an avid player of both destiny and outriders, I think outriders is the better game. Aiming on console is weird as shit in outriders for whatever reason but still better in my opinion.
@@davidmorales7371 It’s because there isn’t much to do in outriders other than to try new builds on expeditions you’ve done 100 times. You could complete outriders from start to 100% in a day, destiny has probably 100x more content than outriders has not even including pvp.
I agree, some buddies of mine haven’t jumped back to outriders because of destiny. I hope the next outriders they can blow up like destiny (in terms of content amount). I love this game. I have it on ps5 and game pass, and I’m thinking about getting it on steam so I can own it on pc not just have it through game pass.

Its a shame none of this is even remotely achievable with any other set but Acari. Lava Lich, and Reforged do laughable damage. Never even seen anyone use Torturer.
@@kutdownongaming78 all of the sets have cool affects, but none compare to Atari. It is extremely overpowered. With the tap of one skill you especially quadruple your anomaly power.
Mixed feelings about that build solo it's not bad and does damage but i notice against elites i struggle aswell with the bosses the trash mobs sure i oneshot but anything else it just don't work as good especially in a three man squad i do no damage against elites and i followed that build 100%

I had the hardest time with the Pyromancer on my run, not getting the drops I wanted because I was dealing with going no higher than tier 3.
Pyro will struggle a bit until you can get the right gear to drop. It is ALL about the right gear along with the absolute correct mods.

Roaring Umbra drops anywhere at anytime. You can also try Tiago.
This game is underrated. It's phenomenal, so much fun. But destiny single handedly hurts it and has kept it from taking off.

Why no Fortress?
It's changed significantly and builds stacks. I am not shooting enough to really take advantage.
