some people just tend to focus on the unnecessary things right? Who cares about the eggs? They can eat them from a shoe for all I care, I just enjoy the family 🥰
I don't know if you have a semi busy road near you but have you ever thought of letting a couple of your kids do an "egg stand" as oppised to the old fashioned lemonade stand. I bet the boys could make a quick stand from left over wood. The girls could make the sign and they would be in business. Road side stands around here are very popular.
I haven't had a tomato that wasn't from the grocery store in so long. The home grown ones taste so much better. I love tomato sandwiches with a fresh tomato, mayo, salt and pepper, on some good bread.
I agree wholehearted with the comments about Sarah, and want to add that Sarah has a wonderful role model-her mama! Those tomatoes are mouthwatering on the video. I think this family is one of the healthiest-eating families you will ever see!
There's nothing any better than homemade home cooked meals! They all look delicious!! I would enjoy tomatoes, cucumbers and cantaloupe for any meal. Yummy!!
Wanted to share this. I learned on an asian channel how to keep green onions longer and I've made mine last 4 weeks! The lady, Mindy showed placing them in a tall container (I use a jar) and put just enough water to float the roots. The cover with a plastic bag (gallon zipper one for me) then place it over the jar not touching the tops. Then sealing the sides as much as possible. It works great!! And as for the eggs...your chickens, your house, your decisions on cooking. Some people just need to hear Bless your heart! Love y'all and many Blessings send that way. Marilyn from Tennessee
Thank you Marilyn for that helpful tip!!! I am going to try it today. I just got some green onions this morning at the store.....so this was perfect timing. I love when people share how to store fresh food!! I'm exciting aren't I 😂
@@Natalie-ym8pj I do this with green onions as well as cilantro, and it works great. Also when I see sliced mushrooms marked down, I sauté them and freeze them flat in a large ziplock, and then break off what I need. (This is for cooking, not to eat fresh.) That way I feel like I don't have to use them up right away.
This video came out at the perfect time. These are always my favorite to see what you eat and get ideas that I can make. Right now I'm in the hospital so will enjoy this video

Janice if you remove all the seeds and ribs from your jalapeño peppers out they should not be spicy. We mix cream cheese, shredded cheddar and stuff the pepper halves, then wrap them in bacon and bake till bacon is cooked and crispy.
I have to say THANKS! I don't usually watch grocery hauls. It doesn't impact my life or teach me new skills to see if you buy oranges or cereal or potato chips. However, your sale and price tips can be very helpful. We get beef for the freezer every year from our son in law. But we have run out of ground beef before we get our next beef. I listened to your video last week while canning tomato soup. My ears perked up when you said Aldi had organic ground beef $3.99 lb. I went the next day and also took advantage of the good price you mentioned on the sliced cheese. Thanks again!
Hi Janice hello family i just love watching all the food and meals you put together it helps me to come up with ideas for meals. Thank you family for all your fun that you share with us.

this actually healthy eating for real and every one buys a piece of land and put houses on it in hadford every one grows vegtables in their dirt and the they share what they grow
The heat in hot peppers come from the seeds and pith. We control the heat of our poppers and salsa by cutting most of that out before using. Love your garden produce and how well you use it!
We take cucumbers and peel, and slices them and any type of onions with some water, vinegar and sugar or Splenda. Let it sit in the fridge over night and it’s so yummy.
Rebekah just cracks me up! Ask her what she likes best on her plate and she says everything! Lol Did all of your children eat as well as she does? She's just a lil blessing. Abigail's precious smile lights up a room. And Anna's sweet ways... oh my. I love them all! I'm going to use their idea of making hot chocolate from half milk and half water. I've found all milk is too rich and all water is too thin and watery. Thanks for the tip! Cheri
Your tomatoes looked so delicious like I remember from living in Georgia. We don’t garden and I’ve never seen those meaty looking beefsteak tomatoes here in Colorado. I can taste a tomato, mayo and pepper sandwich. Yum. Enjoy!
All the meals looked absolutely delicious. Those homemade hamburger buns look amazing. What a talented and beautiful young lady. Thanks for sharing all those yummy meal ideas. Wishing everyone a wonderful day.❤
Thanks for sharing what you eat in a week. Your cooking looks great. Love the lunch that David made. Should try that sometime. Thanks for the idea for that.
Just tried out a recipe with Cocktail tomatoes, a soup: you put a Pan full of tomatoes, one or two garlic heads (depends on the sie of the Pan and how much you are making and how much you like garlic😊), one or two onions in pieces, basil, Salt, pepper and olive oil and bake it in the oven, until soft and the you either put it in the mixer or use an immersion blender to get it into a soup. Toasted bread on the side and you have used up tomatoes and a tasty soup. Or pasta sauce. I had it in the oven for about 25 to 30 minutes, but as to the heat I am not Sure, because I use centigrades and know nothing about fahrenheit. It Was between 180° and 200° C. Hope, you'll live it!
All of your food looks so fresh and yummy. Your children must be so healthy with all the cukes and tomatoes. The tomatoes look absolutely beautiful. I love the wide variety you have
I enjoy these eat in a week videos. While I was watching my 24 year old son was looking at the video too. He said you should make those pizzas. I told him how you made them and that you do not waste food. He said well mom isn’t that how it should be? I said I am like Janice too. My son will tell me not to cook meals when there’s leftovers. He’s very smart with money…and he watches Dave Ramsey too!
We make jalapeño poppers a lot. I wear disposable gloves when preparing them. I cut the ends off and scrape all the seeds and white insides out really well. That cuts down on the heat from the peppers. Then I wash them. Pat them dry and fill them with cream cheese. Either wrap the bacon around the peppers or lay a slice on top. I’ve had them with sausage mixed with cream cheese and cheddar too. We do them on the grill or in the oven on 400 until the bacon is done. I’m sure you will find lots of ways to make them.
Oh how I love watching your videos! What a lovely, precious, godly family! Every meal you shared with us looked so delicious. I made a jalapeno popper dip recently. It was really tasty and much easier to prepare than individual poppers! Your homemade bread looks so delicious and slices up so beautifully. I'm going to shop your amazon store when I get paid to purchase a couple of items I think will streamline my meal prep. I love seeing your pantry in the last part of your video. Janice, you look so pretty in that reddish-color top and apron! I'm underging a total knee replacement surgery on August 21. I will be binge-watching all your videos as I recuperate! Blessings to you and your entire family!
The way I make jalapeno poppers is by mixing cream cheese, a little garlic powder, and Cajun seasoning, then cutting the peppers longways and stuffing them with cream cheese and wrapping in bacon. The cream cheese helps with the heat. I also take the seeds out. Please wear gloves while cleaning the peppers. We usually eat them about once a week so I make up enough to get me through the year out of our garden peppers and freeze them.
@@CheriGoodwin they are really handy because they are prepared and all you have to do is throw them on the grill in the oven or air fryer. I never buy pre-made ones. They are so expensive
Goodmorning Janice,I hope all the animals. All that food looks yummy.😊 Rebekah is a getting so big. Always smile when I see your video. 😊 sarah is a excellent baker

Lots of good looking food. So much of the harvest , you would have to eat 24/7 just to keep up with it all. You saved money on this weeks meals using alot of home made items, home grown foods.
When I make jalapeños I cut them in half take out all the seeds and membrane wash them really well and it helps cut down on the heat. I also wrap them with bacon and stuffing them with cream cheese mixture. My best advice wear gloves and don’t touch your face and please make sure you don’t touch Rebeca until the hands have been washed really well. Much love to you and your family
I also like hard fried eggs with hard yolks. So not sure why anyone is complaining. On another note it would be very hard for me to eat a chicken that I raised. When I saw the cooked chicken on your stove I kept thinking about their life roaming the yard.
Hi Janice and family, As usual, your family brings me peace and joy. Thank you for sharing your daily lives with us. Speaking about sharing, could you share Sarah's recipe for the rolls, or do you have a link to it I did not find? I have made your French bread for about 1/2 year now: I don't buy bread anymore!!! But still buy buns. Thanks again for showing us that raising kids the right way is still possible: just need elbow grease, respect and lots of love!
Hello Miss Janice. I truly enjoyed your weekly meals. You mentioned the family doesn't eat spicy foods. Well with the Jalapeños, you can cut or slice them open and pull out the seeds and veins thoroughly (that is where the heat is) Anyway, take care and enjoy. 🙂
Sliced tomatoes, sliced cucumbers, and sliced onions in a liquid of vinegar, water, salt, pepper, and some people put in a little sugar (I don’t). Or sliced cucumbers in sour cream, vinegar, salt, and pepper.
❤ Who tells someone they are making their eggs wrong? You did a great what we eat in a week:. Hope your jalapeño poppers turn out well. I’ve heard the heat is mostly in the seeds but I’m sure the seeds are removed in making the poppers anyway. God bless you all and hugs to my Ozark Family. ❤️❤️
Hello everyone, I really enjoyed yall. Thanks for sharing all of your Menus, and,😋 yummy. Your food garden . Your Beautiful Garden Yielded alot and look soooooooo delicious displayed on the tables. Bountiful bountiful Blessings grown with your own hands. Your children are amazing. Thanks for sharing Janice and family. 😊❤🙏 Ms. Ruby
Yes to storing the strawberries in the jar without washing! Actually, almost all fruits and vegetables will keep longer if you do not wash them until you are ready to use them. As soon as you wash them, they start breaking down. It’s kind of like when you wash the bloom off of the fresh eggs. You have to keep them in the refrigerator because they’re no longer protected. I’ve stopped washing all of my fruits and vegetables and just bring them home and put them straight into the refrigerator and wait and wash them at the time I’m actually going to use them. And they definitely do keep longer! Sarah’s homemade hamburger buns were the absolute most beautiful burger buns I’ve ever seen! I’ll bet they taste just as good as they look, too! Also, I was very impressed with the way Shawn had the lunch items set out all need and tidy and everything! Looked just like Janice or Sarah had done it! Bless his heart, my daddy would’ve just said it’s sandwiches today kids you can have the good stuff when momma gets back! 😄❤
We deep fry cucumbers. My hubby makes a batter. We took a bunch i cut up let sit in fridge covered to dry. Then fried a bit underdone, dried off oil. Froze on a cookie sheet then tossed in a baggie to pull from as needed for a quick side dish.😊
The way we like cucumbers is peeled, sliced, with a dressing of vinegar, soy sauce, sugar, pepper, and water. Sometimes we add cut up green onions or diced tomatoes. It's a tasty change from ranch dressing -- and cheaper too.
I know it is late, but take out all of the seeds, rinse them again add cream cheese we like chive cream cheese wrap in bacon and bake for about 15 minutes. I can't do spicy food but like this they are delicious
and we all as kids visiting her house would use that porclience bed pan with flower in the middle of the ngiht so you dont have to go use outhouse in the middle winter

Your cross stitch is my favorite Bible verse. I love it when the girls wear their hair in braids.
So enjoy these videos! I absolutely love your coffee pot! Have a great week.🙏🏻🙏🏻
Always enjoy watching All your meals look so delicious 😊❤
I know it is late, but take out all of the seeds, rinse them again add cream cheese we like chive cream cheese wrap in bacon and bake for about 15 minutes. I can't do spicy food but like this they are delicious
If you buy tortillas, you can make homemade pizza on those to. I saw that idea on a cooking show. They are really good!
