I have gone from no dolls to Monster High (I have three) and now I have a really nice body but want a really nice head to go with it... I was so glad when you mentioned that you can buy heads!.. I have got a head coming for the body but although it's really pretty, it's a bit childlike for me (and the body in question lol!) I will have to look for a Fashion Royalty head as they are beautiful! I am going to try to copy some of the clothing because it's just gorgeous and I would really like some, but as you know it is well expensive! I am off to sub to your page and I will let you know how I get on! I really want to stick with the 1/6 s scale dolls as everything is set up for this size now. I still think my Monster High dolls are beautiful but I really want a proper supermodel face to go with the body and to show off the stuff I make to it's best. I really love all the tailored vintage type clothing and I am going to try to make some...if they come out well it will save me an arm and a leg. It isn't difficult making doll clothes but it is really fiddly but once you have the patterns you can always make originals and coat them with pva glue so that you always have a record of the basic shapes you need (the PVA is like plastic coating and makes little patterns really durable).
