- I'm a big fan of Ballard Products for my commercial lawn care company Bladez LLC. After 3 months of owning a ballard catch pro, I decided to make a brief review in regards to the goods and bads of this grass catcher. It is primarily used on my 2020 toro grandstand 52" deck. It has been super convenient for bagging grass clippings on a few high end lawns here in central Minnesota. If you are in the market for a leaf catcher or grass catcher check out this video.
Thank you so much for your detailed review. I bet it was difficult to give this review of your friend. I'm going to place my order for the large Accellerator aluminum bagger.
First! I have a bagger for my Grandstand also. I just hate how wide it makes the machine. Yours is a lot lighter then mine mines all metal heavier then crap 💩
I've used a metal one on a walk behind. You aren't kidding those are super heavy. For the convenience aspect they work pretty good still though.
How many litres of lawn ?
Can you show the trailer mount?
Watch my newest video! You can see how it works in the latest film
Would this be great to use for leaves as well?
It fills up with leaves extremely fast! Even mulched... If you added the extension, it would get the job done. You will be dumping often, though.
definitely better off with the bagger
We use it with leaves on some properties. It gets pretty heavy. And you dump it often.
Or bushalls
Does it fit on your Z master? Please answer I need help Zach!
It's been on my zmaster 5000
Seriously regret buying my bagger from Ballard.
You are not alone!
Who makes the best ones my guy I’m interested in getting something for my leaf clean ups
@@jasonslaughter2811 Humboldt Specialty Manufacturing Company. They are out of Nebraska. There's is a system to where it has a plate with a mesh bag that connects to the side. The bag part is replaceable. Also, you can dump while sitting or remove the catcher from the side. I bought one for my Hustler Fastrack and love it. Since it is mesh as well you dont get all that dust flying up like these metal ones and they weigh far less. Also, the owner of the company John is super nice as well.
@@dw5743my issues with the Ballard catch pro it’s to low to the ground and sometimes gets caught on stumps? What was your issue? And what’s the differences with the one from “Humboldt Specialty Manufacturing Co.”??
the bag doesnt fit your machine
