Episode Three of a 12 part series, Where I restore and rebuild wrestling video games. Show off Unseen or lost footage.
PLEASE NOTE* This video was filmed a week prior to it being uploaded right before I had house damages, so add week on to what I talk about at the end.
Obviously I'll answer questions in the q&a next week but just to let you guys know, yes I am going to be putting an uncut ver of this episode up elsewhere when I do, I'll update this.

How did you add Scott Hall in the game? Is it his original SYM model or did you make it from scratch?
How did you create new Titantrons like stone cold '00
It's not that I couldnt get it to work, I just held off on that so I could have a full roster for that era finished before putting it out

I saw the original last night, it sucks you cut to edit out so much, but your knowledge is the important part.
I do remember seeing the original SYM trailer he had to cut I believe Gamespot and IGN might have the footage because I remember seeing it there back in the day. Sucks he had to cut it.

What I noticed in SHUT YOUR MOUTH they just copied Kane's 2000 attire that featured in the previous Smackdown game Just Bring It and they only changed his mask to were he wears back in summerslam'01 till April 2002. Unfortunately, what should have been done back at the time is Kane should has his 2001 attire in the game that he wears since Invasion ppv and also do not forget about his left elbow pad that he wears on the the final episode of Smackdown before Survivor Series 2001 till April 2002.
I would like to ask my friend if there is any possibility to make a costume mod for Kane's 2001-2002 attire in WWE Smackdown SHUT YOUR MOUTH? Thanks

The Smackdown game I was most fond of growing up, some many memories of endless hours of game play. It's great to see a more accurate addition of this game being made, to able to included bald Kurt Angle, Scott Hall and more is something I have wanted to see done for this game for a long time. Excellent work Scott!
As a kid I always wanted a WWF version of Shut Your Mouth so it excites me to see the changes you have made, I will definitely support you on patreon! I don't know much about modding arenas but is it possible to update an existing arena? For example, replacing the WWE logo above the Smackdown fist with a WWF logo, and replacing arena aprons and turnbuckles.
Would it be awesome if they (Yuke's Media Creators & THQ) should've add two versions of Raw and Smackdown arenas in SYM like Smackdown! Here Comes the Pain for example. If you pick Raw A (it will be the Raw is War/Raw arena from late 2001), and Raw B is the parallelogram titantron Raw arena from 2002 up to 2008. As for Smackdown, Smackdown! A have the minitron, and the black ring poles/aprons, and for Smackdown! B have like the retail version of SYM, with the white poles/apron in WWE Smackdown! Shut Your Mouth. That would be caught up with the timeline of the WWE. As for the WWF logo, I am not sure about that, because the World Wrestling Federation (known as the WWF back then) got sued from the World Wildlife Fund for their initials and name disputes. The WWF changed their company's name into World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) in early May 2002 up to the present day.
Can you put the chart you made in Patreon? Also, for the 2002-2003 attire pack, will they also have 2002-2003 theme songs and titantrons? For example: The Rock, Undertaker, Kurt Angle (titantron), Brock Lesnar (titantron) Matt Hardy, Shawn Michaels (only the theme), etc.
Copyright strike overkill is killing youtube, you're easily the best wrestling games channel it sucks to see your stuff compromised but it still turned out well.

Great Video! I can’t wait for WWF Shut Your Month! I wanted to ask you if you could do a mod for SVR 07 with a SVR 11 roster. I know it probably would be really hard but I would love to see a GM Mode with the 2010-11 roster.
Great video I wasn't able to see the original due to work yesterday but when I saw you updated I dropped everything and made my way here with the quickness. SYM was a game I never had a physical copy of but I used to play it over at my cousins house and loved it. I eventually did get HCTP though but I always felt the HCTP roster as great as it was was lacking compared to SYM (in part because I'm more partial to the Attitude Era and SYM had many holdovers from that era with the added plus of WCW alumni.) Question Will Scott Hall ever be added to your HCTP definitive addition?
He said the HCTP definitive addition is pretty full and is saving room if he can find the Hogan, Jeff, and Warrior models to put them in. He can't really add anymore people.

Perhaps if the CAW mode thing is possible in which he mods that mode so that if you decide to make him in that mode then his wrestling trunks and logos will be available as presets.
So my question is.. Was there ever a WWF RAW Arena (Attitude) before it was changed in April 2002?

Man I love this series
Shut Your Mouth's graphics actually looks more realistic than hctp and the subsequent games. It's something about the skin texture and lighting that made the wrestlers look more real.
Also face textures seemed to look somhow higher res than hctp and wrestlers like HBK and Triple H definitely look better on shut your mouth. HBK on shut your mouth and svr 2006 has the best face in my opinion.
Will the nwo tron have scott hall in?
I always hated how they used the wrong Y2J theme song and gave him his 2000 theme and how they changed the Hardys theme song

Loving the series. As you noted the new updated stage for RAW in 2002 was shown off in May of 2002. I was just wondering, are there are any elements in the game's prior builds suggesting that the set used up until the Brand Extension was intended to be included?
As you have teased putting Scott Hall back into the game, do you plan on putting back the wrestlers whose faces/callnames were left in the create a wrestler? The likes of Justin Credible/Big Bossman/D'Lo Brown/Mr Perfect to name a few? Awesome content my friend keep it up!

15:57 I never knew that cutscene existed. Undertaker was always the undisputed champion so he wasn’t apart of the draft. It’s cool because he did have that reaction but I never could get that to trigger.

SD SYM was always my favorite SD game.

WOW this is amazing, i came across your channel due to NewLegacyInc. I've been watching a few of these videos and tbh between this game and HCTP you could pretty much more or less make a WCW game with the modes, like WCW from mid 2000 to 2001 in a way. Keep up the AWESOME work.

Not only that, in WWE Smackdown! Here Comes the Pain, the WWF logo was shown in the Rebellion titantron (if you look closely).

I always wondered why vinces outfit was different.
To avoid copyrighted video footage like trailers getting ContentID match, mirror it and put a frame (animated, if possible) around it. So it won't fill the screen. And NOT center it. If that doesn't help, a colour filter will.
SmackDown Shut Your Mouth Was Awesome New Feature: Brock Lesnar (Suplex City)
1. Will you do something w/ Armageddon stage? Since it was replaced by Vengeance in '01 (post Judgment Day PPV arenas are based on 2001 ones) a generic one based on Fully Loaded 2000 had to be used. Perhaps use 2000 or 2002 Armageddon stage?
2. Are you doing this with SD2? There is a big roadblock for full Big Show/Shamrock unlocking, the cutscene disable flag in the cutscene EXE (they revert to The Rock, char ID 0 if forced to appear in a Season mode cutscene). (Trons can be converted from SD1, btw)

Two title entrances possibly stored anywhere for a two belt undisputed championship. I know we've sen vid/ pic of Triple H posing with two belts/ I'm sure Jericho has one as well
Nope, as I mentioned the 2 belts pose of hhh's was seen was and is a winning animation not a title entrance. There were none of those made as of the first trailer and then by the time they got to that rock, hogan and undertaker are the only ones to have unique entrances, y2j and everyone else are all winning animations. I've gone though everything as early as the e3 2002 build and that title entrances didnt exist for anyone just winning animations.
@Scott Jay Hey, Scott.. I'm using PCSX2 and just downloaded both SD! JBI! and SD! SYM! After watching a few of your videos on here, I'm REALLY interesting your definitive versions. Just so much that should've been left in the games and other things that should've been left unchanged. But wanted to ask as to where I can acquire your save files or whatever it is I need to access the removed content and the things you've added back in?
Two things which clearly stand out in my mind, are:
1) Debra NOT being selectable/playable in SD! SYM!.. Despite her character model, entrance theme and entrance video being in the game
and
2) The Rock's "Rock Bottom" move from the SD! JBI! preview edition being leaps and bounds over the version we actually got.. They could've at least kept it in as a variant, like you've said.

When they got rid of season mode that was stupid and when they asked if people wanted it back for 2k22 they said no... I reckon because a lot of the newer generation never got to play a season mode before, me and my friends used to like the season mode in raw 2 on xbox or Smackdown know your role... because it was 4 players :) that's what seasons should be hundred of cutscenes and situations
