Love all of your growing observations. They are so helpful. Your plants all look so happy, babies and all. Thank you for your update. That pink variegation is so precious. ❤️
Thank you! Yes, Optimara Romance is truly a gem! I've always wanted to have it. Ordered leaves from Selective Gardener last year, but lost them to overwatering. Super excited about this plant!
I guess optimara is your favorite...I was checking the site violet barn...Need to decide which I do want because I don't see their names there....your african violets are lovely.....love them........blessings.....MINDY
Наверное, можно и под лампами, но у меня они что-то капризничают пока. А вот как они растут в теплицах производителя: facebook.com/optimara/videos/1377507569001055/
I am a beginner grower of African violets, with only two store bought plants. Do you have any suggestions/names of standard plants that would be good for a beginner. I would like to grow them on my window sill.
Optimara violets have been the easiest to grow for me when I just started. Selective Gardener has many varieties of Optimara violets to choose from - I would just wait until it gets warmer, in spring, before ordering. Happy growing!
@@grayturtleviolets I have an old issue of House Plants and Porch Gardens dedicated to African Violets. They have an article about Optimara African Violets explaining that one of Holtkamp's goals is to breed plants that are easy to grow.
@@bobbohata9641 Thank you for sharing! Definitely the case here, in my growing conditions - they are easy growers and prolific bloomers. The only one that I am still working on to make it happy is Optimara Los Angeles, doesn't seem to grow and bloom as well as the others, so it's been work in progress ).
Very livable violet
Congratulations sister
Thank you!

Thank you! I have a few from Violet Barn, too! Love them all!
Beautiful flowers
Thank you! Cheers!
Интересное наблюдение, не знала, что Оптимары не любят лампы. Век живи - век учись, спасибо!😉
