Sounds like you just got a lemon, plain and simple. Thousands of these sold, the vast majority have had a great experience. I own one and it runs perfect. Starts on the second pull every time. I love it.
Junk! I own one and it was an absolute waste of money. I ignored all the warnings so it’s on me. I loved the concept. When warm, it stalls all the time.
We gave up on it and went back to where we bought it, the store was no longer representing the brand and gave us credit for it against a new 6hp 4-stroke Suzuki. I cannot say enough good things about the integrity and service that Bridge Yachts has provided!
We were shipped a new 'carb'/mixing valve, we were also sent a new pull start assembly. We were heading south and we just could not risk this being our main dinghy motor, so got rid of it. - I did install the new carb unit - it didn't change much.
@@THe9-3MAnIaC We thought we were doing the right thing, we liked the idea of NOT having a third fuel on the boat (gasonline), but the technology and quality is just not there, these motors might be fine for a small lake, but when cruising we needed to rely on an our outboard, the suziki was fine too low a power for ocean swells, but we eventually ended up purchasing a Yahama 9.9, easy to get parts for and has the power to get us to shore and back quickly even with groceries!
@@desperadoii4938 That was nice to hear! The Japanese brands knows what they are doing 😉 But parsun and hidea are very good now! They been better and better for each year, much improved quality science 2006 when they started to come out on the market
I have much the same problem with this motor, can't get it to idle. Really want this solution to work as I had so many problems with gasoline engines, but it appears to be poor quality all around.
Problem is your 1lb tank position!! Liquid propane goes to your motor. If you use 20 lb tank it will works fine. Stupid motor design. Now Tohasu and Merkury sell propane motors and they work fine. I own Tohatsu LPG from 2017.
Good point. picking up a 25cc lehr propane weed wacker tomorrow to convert to a 12v generator. I also see the smaller engines where used on e-scooters back in 2009
I have one, it runs great!
I don’t think what you were adjusting was the idle. There should be an idle screw on the face of the Carburetor that you use a screw driver to adjust.
The only adjustment is the one I was adjusting, talked to the rep about it.

Where can I get parts for mine?
mine is ok so far. WHAT IS THE BEAUTIFULL LOCATION
We were at Bay Fine, no far from Killarney, Ontario.. very secluded area, one of our favourite spots, the other being Covered Portage

Is it working better now?

Air to fuel ratio problem?

@@desperadoii4938 That wasn't fun to hear :( Hope LEHR will get better with there quality, propane outboards will be nice to see around later in time

My outboard does the same. I don’t know why distributors keep selling them. Garbage.
