You need to have a wifi for this to work. A wifi which connects smartphone and chromecast in the same network. Any android smartphones and tabs can serve as a wifi hotspot. Connect both J7 prime and Chromecast to the same wifi hotspot, once on the same wifi network you can screen mirror the smartphone screen to tv screen through cromecast. I always do this everyday at home and watch youtube videos and homemade videos or pretty anything on my smartphone screen onto tv screen. :)
Thank you it was very helpful.....after a month of trying to find out why my J72016 couldnt connect to the Anycast. And every video i open in youtube has an Indian person with a very annoying accent trying to explain what ever it was they uploaded..it was as if India baught off you tube. So annoying... Thank you... i just realised that the Anycast is not compatible with the J7 2016. 👍

Also, since its casting/mirroring, would the internet come from the phone's service provider or the router with internet connection?

Screenbeam mini2 by actiontec doesn't need wifi but Samsung J7 doesn't support it supposedly need to download app screen mirroring patch, but most high end phones do have screen mirroring already

Just install google home from play store. Than open the app and find the content cast screen/ audio and than your ready to lay back. Make sure you update your Chromecast to fullest .😉
Your wifi has to be the same as the device of the hotspot that your using or it won't work so just use your phone as the hot spot than use another device like a spare phone or ipad to receive wifi and install google home and cast.
