Who told you? I can name atleast 3 brands who have made intensely black lipglosses. My whole point is don’t market a gloss as “black” if it is not looking black, simple. Morphe has some amazing “black” glosses, sheglam too! You can check it out :)
No instructions is written like that on the product, it is a colored gloss which is marketed as Black! So it obviously needs to have some black pigment. There are many brands which have black lip glosses and which look black no matter the base on lips!
