It’s peak camp. I’m living for it. Seriously though they were just at the start of their career, two teenagers, no point judging too harshly on 1 performance 13 years ago. They were having a good time, the audience was too. This was meant to be a one off live, not one for the history books. Clearly lol.
Even if you're correct and can actually hit every note of this song perfectly, nobody will pay you sing this song, much less a crowd of people paying you to hear it. Jealous much?

I had no any idea that they performed Hot N Cold together. Taylor and Katy have been good friends way back then.
Even though they had a four year long feud, they did make up by the time Taylor released the song "You Need To Calm Down" which Katy was featured in the music video. So they're good friends again.
Now I get why Taylor wrote Bad Blood...I couldn't understand why she would act soooo upset at someone who may have walked past her or something- they were actually friends...by Hollywood standards anyhow!

I love this song! I'm not saying Taylor's voice and Katy's voice are the same one. But, as they sing they're so in sync and go from one voice to the other that I can't distinguish between them. Rock on! Taylor Swift is an absolute force of nature. Wow! I'm glad they're friends. Girls being girls!
I feel like she’s learned so much since this. They should have reworked the arrangement and been in a lower key that she could handle. I think this is probably the worst vocals I’ve ever heard from her.

I guess the nice thing about this is they actually get along now. It did not start that way. Even though Taylor Swift's voice is not right for the song, she gave it a good try. Katy being older does not sing it like she used to either. But they had so much fun doing a fun Katy Perry tune means more than we will probably ever know considering their past history. The line "we fight and we kiss and make up" fits them so well. Never knew they did this. I realize this is before the feud and them making up in 2019 when Katy Perry reached out to her and she responded in kind - so much that Katy appeared in a Swift video a few years ago.
