I know a lot of people gave her crap telling her to just move on, but when it comes to your first true love, it takes more than just moving on. You’ve opened your heart up completely and give that person every ounce of you. It does take time and I’m glad she’s been honest about how long it’s taken her to truly heal and move forward. I’m in the same situation as her as many others, and I hope Selena can now move on and be blessed when a new incredible partner

I... Went hardcore on my 2nd breakup. I felt like I could shake up the whole University if I avoid getting expelled. But that breakup unlocked the confidence I never thought I had. I stepped on stages, hosted events, sang my heart out until most students start to recognize me in the hallways. My obsession in showing that I was the better girl made me realize I can do this without the rage and bitterness. I comfortably stepped out the stages and back into my tiny space with close friends after I was over the heartache. It was awesome.
The time healing is takes years..specially when you have a lot good memories with that guy ...i know the feeling your right in every word you said ..hope selena healed her broken heart in god time she will make it..
Exactly.. It took me 3 years to get over. I don't regret anything at all.. Cuz I love the"me" I'm today.. Yes it hurt a lot, was way too hard to get over.. But now I'm finally happy.. =)
