Good day po ma'am. Never po naging intensyon ng mga travel tax officers na lituhin po kayo. In fact, concerned po sila na maibigay ang karapatan ninyo ng naayon sa batas ng Pilipinas (Presidential Decree 1183) dahil may ibang travelers po na discounted or exempted. Sila naman po ay nag i-implement lamang po ng batas. Mababait po yan, at madali kausap. Ingat po and more power to your vlogs ma'am! 🙏

I also visited Taiwan in 2018 with my family. We used bus trsnsportation from the airport to Taipei but we arrived Taiwan late morning. One problem we encountered once we arrived in Taipei was looking for the location of our hotel. When we showed the complete name and address of the hotel, no one seems to know this, particularly the locals. They cannot understand and read English writing. It took us more than one hour until somebody gave us the clear snd correct direction ofcthe hotel. By the way, our hotel was a big one and it is located at the center of the business/commercial district. Finding this would have been easier if we had a map at that time.

Madam di naman sila taga Immigration para i-hold ka. Tinatanong talaga yon to assess kung magkano babayaran mong tax dahil iba iba po yon for example if OFW ka, resident ka na sa ibang bansa, or tourist. Kalma lang po
FYI pwde mag-bus from Taoyuan Airport to Taipei main station pag late na yung land nyo since 24H sya available. You need to take bus 1819. Then pwde na mag-cab from Taipei main station to your hotel if nearby like Ximen area or pwde rin lakarin pag malapit lang sa Taipei Main station ung accommodation nyo
Hi opo, nag antay kasi talaga kami na mag open ang Klook counter at money changer 💛 at kinabukasan pa talaga ang booking namin sa hotel para tipid.

Tanong ka sa travel tax counter, kasi kung resident ka ng ibang bansa exempted ka magbayad ng travel tax. May ibang Filipino kasi resident ng ibang bansa pero hindi nila alam exempted sila na magbayad, as long as may document to show na permanent resident.
I agree po sir. Some naman baka resident sa ibang country aside sa Taiwan pr baka dependent ng OFW sa countey destination ibang rate din po yun sa tourist lang.

Maam na sa 2.3k PHP when you book private car pick up from Taoyuan to hotel (ximending area, last Feb 19 2023 samin) via Klook for 3pax. Sayang din kasi yung first night payment sa hotel pag nag wait till 5am sa airport or 2pm pa checkin-in pag next day. Pag airport taxi naman around 1.2k ntd to Ximending, 1k ntd naman po pag Uber + toll fees. Grabe same experience tayo and nakaka excite padin. 😂 Yung sim card counters 4:20am pa earliest opening unlike before na 24/7 kaya sa Chungwa telecome store ko na cinlaim the next day near ximending yung samin. Hi just want to correct your reaction from 0:40-1:45 po. I dont you to mislead other people. There's a reason why the travel tax officer asked you those questions. They have to assess to you properly para tamang rate po maibigay sa inyo. You can just simply say tourist kayo para di na kyo tanungin ng ganong questions. Besides, di po sila nanlilito. They just wanna make sure na tamang rate ipa bayad sa inyo.

Kinwento ko ang experience ko and my opinion, katulad ng ginagawa ko sa iba naming travel vlogs, ganyan ang reaction ko dahil first time nangyare na tinanong ako ng ganun, alam ko yung about sa OFW travel tax dahil pang ilan nadin naming alis ito at laging may tanong kung OFW ba, but this time iba ang tanong. Anong mislead? I'm informing people kaya ko shineshare ang experiences namin, para malaman nila na pwede rin sila tanungin ng ganito. 🥰

bout sa pgbayad nyo ng travel tax, i dont think na nililito kau sa tax counter.. kc pag ofw, no travel tax na babayaran.. pag residence nman, minsan nalilito cla (mga taiwan citizen na my taiwan id or only resident na ARC ang hawak) kung mgbabayad b ng travel tax..kya cguro ngtanong na kgad sa nyo sa counter bka mrming ofw or resident ang nginquire na before you.. kc kming mga spouse ng taiwanese na ARC plang ang hawak pro ph passport eh nalilito p kmi kung mgbabayad b kmi ng tax or not..

Hello! We love it there po, room is sakto lang ang laki pero okay na okay sya at bago yung building/room na napuntahan namin. Mahigpit lang talaga sila sa check in at check out time at ganun din po sa iba 💛 Mas pipiliin ko ito kesa sa Liho Hotel na pinag stayan namin ng mga friends ko last October 2023.

No po, it's different po, nghuhuli na po sila agad sa line of questioning po nila. And yes, we are aware po about sa exemption ng OFW sa travel tax.

I think sa perception niyo lang na nanghuhuli sila. Ang OFW and Permanent resident abroad ay exempted from paying the travel tax kaya nagtatanong sila. Kaya they’re thoroughly evaluating you. If mapagbayad nila ang OFW and Permanent resident ma hahassle ang pasahero dahil mag rerefund.

Exempted po kasi ang mga OFW sa travel tax, or they don't need to pay travel tax. Mas mahirap kasi magpa refund sa TIEZA, kung hindi naman kailangan magbayad ng travel tax.

USD to NTD kami, kung wala ka namang USD pwede ka magpapalit sa bank kung san may account ka. Pero para sakin, kung wala kang USD, derecho PHP to NTD ka nalang dun sa Taoyuan Airport. Hirap magpapalit dito sa Pinas, diba may na balita na fake NTD yung binigay sa kanila sa isang money changer dito.

Yes 24 hours po open ang 7-11 sa baba, sa simcard naman yung kinuhanan ko sa klook 4 or 4:30am nag oopen, 2 choices kasi yung simcard sa klook nung time na nagbook ako, kinuha ko yung maaga mag open, depende kung ano ang pinurchase mo makikita mo naman yan sa details on how to use/claim po andun yung oras nila 💛
